Spectrum Tuition

I am Dr Carl D’Souza, an ex-student of Spectrum Tuition. During 2014-2016, I had the opportunity to attend many classes at Spectrum, including ones for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematical Methods and English. The excellent tutors motivated me to remain focused and study well. I was able to ask my tutors questions that I might not have had the opportunity to discuss with my school teachers during regular high school classes. The worksheets at spectrum also allowed me to build accuracy, speed and confidence for answering exam-styled questions. My daughter started Spectrum last year. She enjoys going to Spectrum and has been learning more here. Their workbooks are structured and easy to follow. They have tried to cover most of the syllabus and also some in depth topics. My daughter says the initial weeks are quite easy, and as the term progresses, the topics become more intense and challenging.The teachers experience varies from one to another. Some teachers just do the basic teaching while others go in- depth to make the topics more easy to understand. Spectrum also provides an online platform for the parents to see the syllabus. They have videos of topics that are covered in classes, for the students to refer back. The staff are very polite and understanding. They always respond to queries promptly and make sure it’s resolved.Every week students get a spelling test for 10 words and also they do a small quiz before the class begins.Overall, Spectrum is doing a good job in teaching the students with good material. However, it’s up to the students to try and grasp how much they can get out of the classes. I would give 4 star rating since there’s always something to improvise.

Really happy with my experience with spectrum tuitions in hoppers crossing. My child enjoyed going there last year and improved so much in her English and maths as there study is really thorough.

A year at Spectrum Tuition really helped me to understand core concepts for the selective schools exam. The teachers were very helpful, explained subjects clearly, and helped me to clarify anything that I did not understand. The booklets provided include most types of questions given in the exam, and give plenty of practise for them too. After completing my course, I was able to pass the selective exam and be accepted into my preferred school. Many thanks to Spectrum Tuition, I highly recommend!
