TerryWhite Chemmart Crows Nest

Last week I went to this pharmacy in the evening to grab a few supplies for my daughter with a wound on her arm from sport. I politely asked one of the staff at this pharmacy where the cleaning alcohol was. This staff member scolded at me while aggressively saying “find it yourself”. I unfortunately didn’t catch this person’s name. I went to the nearest staff member, named Joseph, who was working in the back compartment of the chemist to report this. Surprisingly, I was met with belligerent yelling directed at me from Joseph, who was defending the staff members behaviour. He screamed at me “you have no right to behave like this”, “how dare you try disrupt the entire store” and here comes the worst comment, “Dark coloured people like you always cause problems.” I was in utter disbelief from the racial discrimination thrown at me. This is unacceptable behaviour in this day and age. I am a proud Nepalese women living in Australia but this racial abuse from Joseph hurt me. I hope this store takes action, because this is unacceptable.

This chemist needs to learn something called manners. Have some of these good reviews been payed for?? As I walked into the shop I was met with unhappy staff rolling their eyes at the sight of me. The staff in the pharmacy at the back of the store were some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. One of their names was Melissa and I didn’t catch the mans name. They told me to “hurry up and stop wasting their time” and that I was “extremely selfish” when all I was doing was trying to find a certain email in my inbox for information on my medication. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pleasant and helpful service, and reasonable prices. The owner and same core staff are almost always present, and give serious and accurate advice, unlike other pharmacies in the area which seem to be staffed by a constantly changing parade of locum staff giving advice of mixed quality and with no responsible management in evidence.

Been going to Terry White Crows Nest for years. Joe and Mellissa are such an important part of our family's health care. Excellent, honest advice. You need a good pharmacist as much as a good GP. Thanks Joes, Melissa and team.
