Moe & Co. Lidcombe

This review is for the women's section. I'm one of those girls who does not have the patience to sit in a hairdressers chair for a few hours while getting my usual half head foils. This experience was very different. Joe is awesome!! Very skilled, and the way he styled my hair into soft curls was a joy to watch. Rana, who was working on other clients provided fun chatter and some great music!! Baila!! Thanks guys!! I will be back!!

Rana is always looking after my hair as if it was her own, best treatment and I love everything about it now. Thank you for always being professional and making me feel amazing whenever I leave the hairsalon.

The lady washing my hair was extremely aggressive with my hair despite me telling her I have a sensitive scalp. She got angry and defensive at me instead of correcting her approach. Not a good experience and will not come back here again.

I brought my four kids here for a trim in November 2022.My two boys had their hair cut by the male barbers. I was happy with their service. We came in the evening and waited quite a while because there were many customers. We did not mind the wait.My two daughters had their fringes trimmed by a lady from Moe and Co. I wasn’t too pleased with the result. Although the fringe cut only cost $5, the fringe was not even. The lady used the twist and cut method which resulted in the fringe being longer on the sides and shorter in the middle. I pointed it out and then she trimmed it shorter on the sides. Had I not pointed it out, she would have just left it as is.I also wanted my daughter’s hair to be trimmed on the back and was happy to pay extra but the lady didn’t want to do it, saying my daughter moved around a bit too much. They had her sitting on a stool with no backing, and she wasn’t facing the mirror. It just felt like they wanted it done as quickly as possible.I won’t be bringing my daughters back here for a trim but the male barbers are decent and I give them 5 stars.

I travel from the north shore to have my hair done here because they do an amazing blow-wave.But,someone needs to explain how I went from paying $85 to $95 to $150 within the space of a few weeks of each other for the SAME service?Makes no sense,apparently there was a price increase?!?Price increase of almost 80% within 4-8weeks?Also,this is what I pay in St Ives(where I live),with a dedicated stylist and exceptional service.I don’t say the service is bad but you have to wait(multiple clients are serviced at the same time) -so what normally takes an hour and half will take more than double that at Moe.I would like someone to explain please.It’s certainly not worth the time,cost and the ambience leaves much to be desired.No long drives to Lidcombe for 1cm black root regrowth and blow-wave any longer,I can tell ya!

It was great experience with Moe & Co. It's my first time to go to salon here in Australia and I would probably go back here because of Joe. He is very friendly and did a good job with my hair. It did meet my expectations.

Hair cut & wash was fine.They asked if I had a pic of the style that I wanted, which I provided. The 3 hairdressers laughed & laughed - I'm pretty sure they were laughing at me since they spoke to each other in Arabic (if it wasn't at me or about me, why not speak in English? )The pic was a pixie style cut - I didn't want to be that person/model in the pic - I wanted to highlight the length & layers that I wanted.The experience made me feel ugly & ridiculous.The lack of emotional intelligence of this haidressing shop in such an industry that relates to a person's appearance & self-worth is disappointing.I regret that when I took the pic back that I didn't leave.
