I was here at 0845. fairly long queue outside in the sun. Need some awning or shade cloth put up. Car parking a bit tight, even for small cars. Staff were very good, helpful and polite.Building is far too cramped for the amount of people using it.Hard to believe with the amount of population in the Ipswich,Ripley and Springfield areas, that this is the only TMR centre, dealing with most things, other than the N.Ipswich one, which doesn't do licences.

Would have been better off updating the one at Redbank Plaza. Atleast there is plenty of parking and you can wait in air-conditioning.Wait times would be better if people didn't wonder in looking for a chat with staff instead of services.

This nice new building is in a very poor location. It's ironic that the lack of parking at the Department of Transport forces people to illegally park on the footpath at the end of Webb Street. Very poor location for parking as there is just no where near enough on and off street parks. The amount of people that come to this place makes it a very slow process. The seating is inadequate for the amount of people waiting and often the queue extends out the door. Staff are polite and helpful, so it's a real shame this place is let down by its location and poor set up. Not very well thought out at all! Hopefully there are plans to fix these things or find a new location soon.Certainly disappointing.

The wait outside of this government facility was atrocious for anyone who is over the age of 50 or has any kind of disability. Our 78 year old dad had to stand in the searing sun for over half an hour. There needs to be some form of shade for taxpayers standing outside and seating. If we had not been there to help him this would have been a worse experience than it was. The staff however were lovely. This needs to be sorted outside several Govt departments in our state.

I felt sorry for the staff who have to deal with such queues constantly. Polite staff but terrible undersized facilities by the department! ...Drastic lack of seating and queueing, standing queue out the door (lucky it wasn't too hot or rainy, bring a jumper in Winter), not enough parks or street parks, many people parked illegally. This location has a reputation of hours-long queues so I felt somewhat relieved our wait was only 45-50minutes.While drivers licence/fork lift/blue card photographs seemed to move quicker than other category receipts, They probably need to improve their process for photographs! Told to go over to the photo chair and not told it would be taken without a person there, camera light flashed and heard the distant worker's voice from the counter four metres away beyond people (we had previously been at), faintly heard her say to take a photo again. I'm young so can't can't imagine how hearing impaired or elderly people would go with that process with no instruction, face video linked to the concierge or even speaker to hear when the photo would be taken. Just another example of how poorly planned the facilities seemed to be. Such a shame. The department definitely needs more locations to accommodate the services.

Instead of two fully functional departments of transport; we have two partially functional services. Great work city council! You couldn't have found created a worse system if you tried. You made sure that everyone is inconvenienced and that your staff have to deal with it. Bonus points for not updating any other webpages other than the official site as well.l just to make sure the public suffers.

I work office hours, like a lot of people. The only hours open are office hours. Not even a half day Saturday or Sunday. Was forced to come in to provide a new digital photo for a licence review. If only there were another way to send or receive a digital photo in 2023. 2 hours out of my day, what a joke.

Terrible experience, queue was out the door in the sun, no parking and one of the staff members was screaming at ppl who were trying to navigate the poorly designed car park. In summary or your elderly, have kids or mobility issues best to bring a deck chair, umbrella and esky with cold drinks and be prepared to wait. Atrocious decision to close ispwich and redbank plaza centres.

After being redirected from Nth Ipswich, to Bundama , the concierge was very nice and pleasant.I did notice the sign on the front windows state NO photos or Videos but a staff member was taking photos of customers on a mobile phone, so does that mean there are 2 sets of rules ?Do as I say, not as I do.......
