Lovely restaurant with yummy food. Service was good. Only think is that we did feeled harried to order and finished our meal. We did booked 6pm sitting and they allowed us to stay until 7.20pm.So, if you book the second setting from 7.30 pm, I believe it would be more beneficial.

Tasty food and a nice place to enjoy a dinner. Chicken Biriyani was not upto the mark though. The staff really accommodated our last minute orders with patience.

Worst customer service experience from the male floor manager. Very rude person with no social or customer service skills. Can't comment on the food because after sitting down, myself and 2 friends were in agreeance that with the way we were treated that it was no longer a place we wanted to be.

I’m truly disgusted to call this “Indian” food. The quality of food at this establishment is abysmal. Majority of the curries taste the same, probably because they use the same bucket of tomato purée as a base. Never recommending this joint to anyone!

Regularly order same meals for delivery direct from their website. Never an issue until this week. Clearly a mix up of order when my instructions as printed on receipt ask for mild and yet both curries arrive loaded with green chillies meaning kids went without. Called and emailed direct with no answer after a week. Also emailed as per instructions on receipt which seemed to route via a third party who contacted restaurant on my behalf . They replied and said the restaurant declined to reimburse. No further explanation or apology given. I went out of my way to resolve direct but alas here I am now giving a one star review because this place won't reply to emails, answer phone and hides behind third party to not resolve their mistake.

We decided to venture to a new area for dinner and chose Saffron Indian in Mordialloc. Easy to book online,they email and text you confirmation. Plenty of street parking and also at the station behind the restaurant.Nice atmosphere, we really enjoyed our food Bhaji Pakora for Entree ( 4 generous sized pieces), Pumpkin Masala, Goan Fish Curry , Lamb Saag, and Butter Nann bread and Roti, they’re licensed.They did seem a little short staffed but that’s quite common these days, friendly service. Sorry forgot to take pictures.

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. Food is fresh and tasty, service is great (they even reopened the kitchen after it closed for me), and they have an excellent restaurant set-up inside.

We ordered a number of items on their menu- Beef Potato Curry, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, etc. and everything was really good but I particularly loved their Chicken Biryani. Cheers to them for being open on New Year’s Day!

Loved this place been a while since I've had a chance and once again didn't disappoint. Food is still amazing. Staff are really accommodating. They were busy this particular night but didn't wait long to get out order. Best Indian food going around, and im really picky when it comes to Indian food.
