Delicious food! Great steak and lamb chops. The mushrooms with fetta were amazing. All the staff, especially Kate, were lovely and attentive. Definitely a great place for a special dinner.

It was great for the team to accommodate us as wall in.And there it stopped.Drinks came fast.Had to ask 4 time to place food orders and someone came after 1 hour.Asked for water and came after 35 mins.tables came after after us ate and left and here we were still waiting for food after hour and half.Felt very neglected and awkward as other patrons looking at us like we were unwanted in the room..Lost of appetite and what to eat a good steak after hearing so much.Food comes now after hour and 40 mins.even not full meal.missing sauce as per order.Disappointed with meal and not worth what I am going to pay for it.Food is over cooked and burnt lamb and porterhouse.Grill plate is stone cold so meat is getting cold faster than you can eat.Sauces mushrooms and garlic taste same.

Not a hidden gem but definitely a gem and well worth having a meal.The atmosphere is semi romantic, the staff are super friendly and the steak is as good as any to be found in Ballarat.High on my reccomend list,I will be back.

The tender lamb with crunchy chips was delicious. The Greek salad was nice but the daiquiri tasted sour without syrup, and the rump steak was tough and chewy. They ran out of baked potatoes so sweet potato was offered as a replacement (that was fine). Unfortunately it was flavourless and bland without seasoning.Somehow we received in one visit a delicious tasty dish and an average underwhelming one with a sour drink.Adding to this, one server is dedicated to drink orders, and another is dedicated to food orders. We were told the drink server was not able to take a food order.The irony was, when we were asked about how our meal experience (with our responses given) the food server, went and retrieved the drink server, who then told us we should’ve ordered a different type of steak if we wanted it tender.We left a little bit disappointed.Our wait time was one hour to receive our mains.

Wow, just Wow! Can't state enough how great this place is!They fitted us in at a moments notice and are so friendly. The atmosphere was great, the team are so friendly and attentive offering informative suggestions. Service was spot on, we didn't wait long for anything. We had, by far, one of our greatest meals! We will definitely be returning.

Apparently it was the best steak my partner has ever had and he's a keen steak eater. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak too. The waitress was super kind and helpful in helping us order.

Our experience was pretty disappointing. We sat for over 30 minutes without even a drink. They gave us some deep fried onions, but it wasn't clear if it was a promotion for everyone or an apology to us. The steaks were ok. They were perfectly cooked. I had fillet and it was very tender. My husband had porterhouse and it was more tasty. The sauces were bland and seemed to come from the same base. We started with a grilled camembert and that was pretty ordinary. The wine was good and a fair price. It just didn't live up to the premium prices. I doubt we would ever go back.
