Our daughter wasn't to sure about taking lesson in karate, but with a little bit of encouragement and a lot of praise and help from Sensei Lisa, she now can't wait to get there and has helped her to be discipline and gain confidence in herself, she thoroughly enjoys every minute of it, highly recommend giving it a go

Shukokai has afforded our 5 year old daughter a place to grow in confidence and coordination whilst under the tutelage of instructors who care about the students and take the time to explain what the kids need to do to improve themselves. It's a shame you can't rate higher than 5 Stars. Thanks.

The sensai’s and senpai’s are very helpful, they want us to achieve and succeed. Everyday we learn something new and do things in a different way because the sensai’s have different ways of teaching. The karate goes at your pace if you don’t know something, someone is bound to know and they will help you understand it. Everyone from the age of 3 above can come down and learn self defence in a very fun way. I would say that I would recommend but I have already recommended it to my friends. It has been a very fun month and want to continue.

I have only had positive experiences with Shukokai Karate Dojos. My 2 boys are enrolled here and have enjoyed every minute. The instructors are kind, patient, friendly, and very warm and through this my boys are enjoying their learning experiences and are able to grasp the routines quiet well. I haven't had issues with them in any shape or form, they are easy to communicate with and very understanding towards their students as well as parents. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to give them a try. You will not regret it.

My 6yo daughter absolutely love going to karate. There is a lot of play involved in the training at this age which makes her think she is having a playdate but they also work hard and they get exhausted without even noticing which means she sleeps great at night. The staff are so good with the kids and in making you feel welcome! All I got us praise for these guys!

My 5 year old son started only 5 weeks ago and in this time I have watched him grow and improve every class. Im impressed with all the instructors. Their patience and encouragement has made a big impact in the learning environment for my son to learn the skills and build confidence in his abilities. I highly recommend

Very professional caring well educated staff. Both my children and myself now attend classes, after seeing the enjoyment my children had i then decided to participate also. Super happy with the classes and teachers, we can see the progress our children have made. The very impressive Dojo is clean, well set up and spacious with a comfortable viewing area for friends and family. Class prices and packages are very reasonable and the Owner/Sensei Darryl is well liked, friendly and helpful with a clear passion for teaching his students and the knowledge to back it up. Highly recommend
