Design Release

We have lived in our older home for many years and it was needing an update. Bec was wonderful in providing suggestions to revamp our bedroom and hallway. She listened to the style I liked and gave a range of options. I felt that I have now gained more confidence in decision making! I look forward to working with Bec again as I slowly work through the rooms of our home.

I have recently used Design Release to help me with my kitchen renovation. I was feeling overwhelmed and confused with colours and styles until the lovely Bec visited me in my home and helped me. Together we chose a stone top, splash back tiles, grout colour, bar stools and pendant lights. I could not be happier with my choices and her services. Using a designer was the best decision I made. I appointed Bec to assist me with selections for my new home. Bec met with me in my home and took a great deal of time to get to know me and the kinds of colours and textures that I liked. She also engaged with my teenagers to explore what they liked too.On my interior selections day Bec came along and worked so well with both me and the builders consultant and helped make a stressful time much more enjoyable! Selections were done and I felt very confident with the choices I had made with Bec’s help.Fast forward many months and my cubpoards are going in today. Bec was wonderful, she helped work out how best to place furniture, art and rugs in our lounge room. She also helped work out where I could install some display shelves and gave some colour suggestions. I needed a plan that I can work towards over time, and Bec was easily able to do that. I really appreciated the summary notes that she provided by email after the session, and would definitely use Bec again in the future.

Bec has helped us and my other family members with designing new spaces; kitchen, living and bathroom. Bec recently helped me renovate a space in our shed to become an amazing BNB.  We were limited with space as the original format didn't allow for much structural change.  Bec did an amazing job designing a kitchen to maximise the space and light, covering up some of the steel framework of the shed.  The colour palate she came up with also complimented our rural  surroundings.  Bec also steered me in the right direction with flooring, window treatments, doors and soft furnishing... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bec.  Thanks a million Bec.

Bec was so helpful assisting me to “see” the elements of my planned renovation and extension. I highly recommend getting Bec from Design Release to come and do a 2 hour consult. I was in over my head in a renovation and was drowning in a sea of paint swatches and door design brochures. I was so confused about how to mesh some of the more modern features of the extension with the older heritage part of our house. I also got Bec's help with furniture layout. My time with Bec bought so much clarity and focus. Now I can boldly move forward with our renovations knowing I won't mess up the design choices as I have Bec's pearls of wisdom tucked up my sleeve.
