I think it's quite misleading. The water is nice and there is plenty of space for dogs to run around, but the rocks make it not very enjoyable for people and quite dangerous as you go into the water (displaced easy as you take steps, a slipping hazard).It's good that it's here but it's a bit of a shame compared to some of the other dog beaches nearby.

Very cool dog beach.Lots of rocks and fun stuff to sniff and explore.Much more fun for dogs then the average sand beach.Was very quiet even on a sunny summer weekend.10/10

Plenty of parking space; 5 minute walk down, watch your steps. Relaxing beach for exploring, take the kids. Find some fossils.

A very long and steep walk down the cliff to the water.Although an off leash beach it is very rocky and unpleasant.Will not visit again!

Terrible place to take dogs they can't run and play as the rock are everywhere. Hard for humans to walk as well and no way you could throw a ball without loosing it. There is a tiny sand beach to the left but not enough to make a beach trip worth it. Don't bother.

In the area so thought we’d visit a dog friendly beach.the reviews looked good & I expected it to be rocky but there was no sign of any of the sand in previous review photos. It wasn’t much fun, very hard to walk for me and the dog and definitely nowhere for dogs to run & play. Perhaps it’s different at other times of the day but we won’t be back to find out. At least the 400m walk back to the car was a relatively easy to walk.
