Christies Auto Electrical

Had an electrical issue related to the starter motor and car wouldn't start - 9pm Roadside assist was able to get me up and running but I had no choice but to take it straight to Christies Auto Elec to leave it overnight as the car would not restart if stopped. Despite having to leave the car infront of the workshop unannounced, Steve was very accommodating and understanding of my situation, and was able to get everything fixed and ready to go within 24hrs. Great friendly service and fair pricing - I'll be going back for any future electrical issues and recommending them to everyone else :)

Sons car would not start had RAA come have a look they could not start either and could find no reason why it would not start.Had it towed to Christies Auto electrical early morning expecting some feedback by close of business.4pm came had not heard anything so rang left a message with no reply rang couple more times before close of business,no reply had not expected car to be there overnight so was a little concerned.Next morning I rang again no answer,left a message no reply had to drive there to be told he had not had time to look at the car yet Received phone call about 3pm said he had checked everything he could but was unsure of problem ,but suggested battery maybe at fault and battery needed charging or renewing . He said he got the car started by attaching booster pack to battery and charged my son $220 for the diagnosis.We drove the car home with no confidence at all as the battery was near new and up until we took it to him was cranking over very strongly We did make it home but car has not started since even after 24 hrs charging and then stupidly buying new battery even though I was positive there was nothing wrong with the old one.Not complaining too much about his inability to find the fault with the car as the fault is proving hard to find but could not believe his inability to answer or reply to my calls so would definitely not recommend and tomorrow am having to have the car towed elsewhereJeff
