They gave a very low evaluation of our property, pricing our house less than what they classify as similar property, even though it is smaller with a ULV of $80K less. Don't go with them, they even used a house as comparison that isn't even in our suburb, beinng over 5.5km away in a lower valuation suburb, while ignoring a more recent sold house next street over. UPDATE: email sent regarding their response, no reply.

Our Finance Broker had Herron Todd White do a valuation on a property in Cannonvale Qld and the information given on the report was incorrect eg 40% below current rental value on the property, obviously valuer had no local knowledge on the rental market. The comparison comments vs other properties recently sold contradicted another valuers comments. We question that valuer even attended our property. Would not recommend anyone using this firm if you were seeking a true market value

It was a very disappointing experience with Herron and Todd White on my property valuation. A four bedrooms (above standard sized bedrooms), house with two living area and two bath in Taylor, ACT have been valued at 835K by them.When approached for an additional loan in December 2021, the bank advised me that the property value have gone beyond million, so a physical valuation will have to be done. HTW comes in and had the property valued at 835K, down by about 250K. It was a shock I had to endure.I am not sure if they understand how much it affects us and wonder if they seriously believe that they can buy this property in Taylor, ACT today at their valued price.

completely unprofessional and rude. if your bank wants to send them for valuation, ask for a different company. they come in for 5 minutes and leave deliberately making your property look low value. they have no idea about what attributes good value. stay away from this company they are rude and do not give any explanations why your property is valued so low compared to all other houses in your suburb.Will never user HTW again

valuation came in lower than before we built a shed and other construction on the property. another bank valuation three months later came in over $100,000 more. if your bank is sending herron todd white; cancel! and keep requesting new valuation be ordered until you get a different valuer.

I honestly don't know why people are leaving such low scores for HTW. They were efficient, well priced, polite, and provided the value I was expecting.Their valuation report is well laid out, detailed and comprehensive. Disregard the low rating and people complaining. They probably had unrealistic expectations and are just upset that HTW were realistic and did their job properly.Thanks to the team and Robert M in the ACT that did my valuation. I appreciate your service and professionalism.

We had a great experience with HTW, our property was valued months prior when we were looking to purchase a house. We didn’t end up proceeding and required a valuation in order to refinance our current property in Moncrieff. The valuation came back in the same price range which was great.

After my personal experience and looking at all the past reviews on on here just want to put this out there so everyone can make an informed decision. I ordered a property valuation for one of my properties- This is a brand new property and got settled 3 months back. The assessor who came out to value the property has no clue whatsoever regarding the market statistics, research is clearly poor- in fact I doubt if there was any research done to back the numbers he came up with. The numbers he came up with were 90K drop on the original valuation that the bank did 3 months back just before settlement and rental estimate $150 below of what it is currently being leased out at.Firstly in a state like ACT property prices are stable and if there is any change its only going up. Their result is 90K drop in 3 months and rental estimate is 150K less then what its being currently leased at. Clearly these aren't results that make sense.Very dissatisfied with the service.

We also had HTW do a valuation on a property we were purchasing. Firstly they got the address wrong. Then they said they had to check whether it had a dwelling entitlement when it was a normal suburban block almost double the minimum land area for a dwelling. Then they said it was flood affected when it wasn't. And finally they said it was landlocked when it had a crown road to the front and rear. In the end they refused to do a valuation.
