Firstly - we just wanted to say how unbelievably happy we were with Sprouts services at our wedding on the weekend.From the set-up, the food, the drink service to the bridal table, the staff on site and just the service all round was amazing. We had many comments about the professional service our guests received and that the food was amazing - both taste and serving size! We even received the statement I won't need to go to McDonalds after that feed!" HahaOur cake was absolutely delicious - simple but elegant at the same time and the florals were placed exactly as asked!We are SUPER happy with Sprout Catering and definitely recommend their services (& food!!!)"

Sprout catered and ran our wedding at Tocal Homestead. They ran a seamless day - not a thing went wrong. They are intent on making sure everything runs on time and they absolutely followed through on this. They also looked after the bridal party during canapés and photos - always ensuring that we had food and drink in hand.The canapés and food at the reception was flawless. We had the banquet (shared plate) option and there was an abundance of delicious food. Nobody went home hungry (in fact, everyone went home very full) and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had eaten. They also looked after all dietary requirements very well - in fact most of their food caters for gluten free, nut free and dairy free people which is so lovely.Thank you Sprout!

Attended Mother’s Day high tea @ Tocal Homestead by Sprout Catering. The venue is spacious and inviting. The food was great but the whole experience was seriously let down by the service. We waited over 25 minutes for a drink order to be taken and that was only after we asked a passing waitress if we could order. Drinks didn’t come until our food was almost finished and the strawberry iced tea with white rum was generous on the rum but sadly lacking any real flavour. At $18/drink - we asked for a long spoon to muddle our fruit and mint in the glass and then asked for ice because there wasn’t any served in the glass. It was barely drinkable. Before we’d finished our drinks and food, without being offered an opportunity to order more drinks or even tea and coffee - we were asked to settle up the drinks bill (food was pre-paid) and also asked if we wanted a container for the left over food. I wasn’t going to be rushed out after barely 1 hour so told the waitress that we’d be finishing our food, thank you. We left not long after, only to be chased out the door by a waitress asking us to “settle up” for our drinks! She was polite about asking the question at least but couldn’t have cared less when we told her we’d already paid and that we weren’t happy about the slow service and poor organisation.A potentially fabulous experience, spoiled by mismanagement.

I had my wedding at The Crown and Anchor Hotel where the function space is run by Sprout. The owner Jacque was there on the night and checked in with us regularly. The food was DIVINE, and excellent portion sizes! They even tailored a main specifically for me as I wanted fish on my wedding day but didn’t want to commit to having it for guests.

I’ve played at many weddings / functions / gigs and Every time Sprout is catering, they never miss! Quality. Tasty. Food. Service to the upmost respect. Food is fresh. Tasty and delicious- HIGHLY recommend for any event.

I cannot recommend Sprout highly enough. We booked Sprout to cater for our wedding on a rural property in Dungog (about 100 guests). We have been guests at weddings where Sprout have catered before, and the food was amazing those times. So we were so excited to have them cater for us. A better decision, we have never made. It was AMAZING. Every dish was delicious (which we knew would be the case!). Plenty of guests remarked to us during the night and afterwards that the food was divine. The food is always one of the most memorable parts of a wedding reception, and no one was left hungry or wanting. Jacque and the team from Sprout did a fantastic job for us. Thank you so much!

From private, intimate dinners for 2, to 600 people corporate functions, Sprout is the complete, around package.Used and Highly recommend for Newcastle and Hunter Valley region.

Excellent food and service. Just need a Hunter wine option when supplying wine to be served at a function. Local Hunter made beer options would also be a positive step

Found this place by accident. Dropped in and was pleasantly surprised by the venue, food and staff. In fact I enjoyed it so much I came here twice in one day.I wanted something simple so I chose the moroccan pie thinking it sounded good.. ...but it was awesome. Great flavours operating together with tender beef to keep a man happy. The salad needed a little something to make it special but loved the meal. Coffee was good, just ask for it to be extra hot.The decor is quirky and industrial with some leather couch classics. Easy to drop in for a quick classy lunch regardless of being a tradey or businessman.It has been open for about 10 months I think. The mother company does catering. I'd hire them after the taste of their cafe food. Yum

A very big yes to Sprout Catering as I attended a wedding at Stanley Park at Fullerton Cove on 30th March 2022. The food that your company presented was absolutely delicious and this goes for the dishes in the. Canapés and the sweet were the best way to top off the dinner. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone looking for catering for the occasion. A big thank you for your slow cooked beef which melted in your mouth and very tasty. To all your staff keep up the good work. Everyone I spoke to on this night said the very same thing amazing food. I give you 5 stars for you presentation and great fresh food.
