As a new business owner I was clueless and nervous about my first ad campaign. Illuminate made the entire experience seamless and easy and allowed me to spend my limited time on thinking about the photo shoot content without worrying about pulling it all together. From something I had been anxious about, it ended up being one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had and the final results were absolutely stunning.

Illuminate Management held the Jacaranda Gin Festival (07/09/19) at Newstead House that was a complete disaster. $90 for Hospitality VIP seating which included a private bar" that was a mere low standing fold-out camping table manned by two staff who managed to make my drink incorrectly the two times I could be bothered lining up. This poor excuse for a bar ran out of some mixers and gins within 3 hours. The line for this private bar was over an hour long and they didn't even accept cash despite the website advertising otherwise. There was only one female toilet avaliable for the entire event. I tried for 40 minutes to acquire any free water to no avail which BREAKS liquor licencing laws in QLD. The 5 food trucks ran out of food within a few hours. The gin tastings were impossible due to the sheer amount of people lining up. The organiser greedily kept selling more and more "extra" tickets leading up to the event which created this mess. The more expensive tickets afforded no additional luxury other than shade and the pitiful "private bar" which overwhelmed staff allowed any ticket holder into.Our group ended up confronting the Event Manager Liz Golding who at first kept saying "I'm so sorry you feel that way". I had to ask for a simple apology that actually took ownership of the massive mess created. The fact I had to ask three times for a mere "I'm sorry" over "I'm sorry you feel that way" from a woman probably 30 years my senior left me speechless. Luckily we left quite early and are awaiting our refund to be cleared. I hope other dissatisfied festival goers can also get their ticket money back. We were unable to get refunds on the drink tokens purchased.I would not attend an event associated with this brand ever again. I have never experienced such poor event organisation in my life."
