Cala Luna Italian Restaurant
The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere upon entry :) great music choices along with some good wall paintings to further add to the setting. Me and my partner had booked in advance for the seating, which seemed to be an essential.We ordered carbonara and gnocchi, along with an entree, and waited. It was busy, and we ended up pending for food for quite a while, mainly due to most of the food needing to be cooked via pan.The waitress Victoria made our night for Valentines however, recommending a wine to me that was phenomenal, having good conversation whenever she could, and for the end of the night sliding us chocolate on the checkout. She had her plate full with work, however, but she clearly tended to each customer with attention, and did her best with professional service.The food itself was amazing 0-0 the wait was long, but very glad we waited for the meal. The kitchen stayed open past close just because of the business, allowing time for everyone to get their food and order a little extra.Overall, great service, great food, great atmosphere! Will definitely come back, and hopefully have a couple more companions to share the table with :)

Beyond disappointing- I’ve never had such terrible Italian- I was really looking forward to great food like the reviews say maybe I should have read more but I ordered seafood pasta- it was pasta with a frozen medley of seafood NO FRESH SEAFOOD - it did have 3 muscle shells on top but they were not fresh either- I’ve never experienced this buying seafood pasta. The pizza wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great and the garlic and Gorgonzola bread was ok. $90 take away bill and very dissatisfied

If you know authentic Italian cuisine, do not go here, definitely not as a group.They don't make their pizza bases fresh, wasn't thin and crispy, but soft and soggy, clearly not freshly made. One of the group members said it was the worst Italian they've had.Pasta was warm, not hot. Tasted microwaved, very blend.Our entrees came after we finished our mains. One group members meal came 25 mins after others received theirs.Lady who served us made it seem like we were an inconvenience.

An absolutely amazing experience.Food and drinks were amazing and came out super quickAtmosphere was relaxed and calmingAnd the staff (specifically Victoria) were just amazingPerfect level of service.Couldn't recommend this place enough. Especially if you want a nice outing 11/10

We stumbled on this fantastic Italian place last night. Our hostess was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. She was happy tot talk us through all the dinner options and the food was amazing. Simple flavours but so very nice. The tiramisu desserts were amazing

Such a wonderful find last night for a special Dinner. Authentic Italian cuisine nestled in Maroochydore. We had the very special Veal Scallopini dish & it was lovingly prepared & presented & was a delight to eat. Would highly recommend this delightful Restaurant to everyone & we will definitely return again & again. The Host Victoria was very delightful & very attentive to us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

Loved it, I would love to come back.Nice quirky older building & Italian decor, classy music, very attentive service, good food. Worked out $50 a head for entrees, mains and bubbles for our group of 4 which I think is quite good value. Couldn’t fit dessert in but hopefully next time.

Victoria and her team at Cala Luna always offer delicious food & wonderful friendly service. We consistantly enjoy eating here, it is a wonderful dining experience and well priced.. one of the local hidden gems.
