Barnstone Kennels & Cattery

Our 10 month GSP, has been there twice. He loves going to Barnstone. When we pick him up he is happy and excited, the team give us a little run down of what he did, who his friend were and his behavior.The team are very friendly and efficient and the kennel is super clean. Free from hair, smells and clutter.Great place to have your pets stay at.

We leave our 2 year old Marley at Barnstone regularly and have done so since she was much younger. She knows the road now and gets so excited on her way in the car (if I thought she was anxious about going I wouldn’t leave her), as soon as we get there she knows where to go and is so excited to see all her nannies. They all know her and her temperament. I know she is having an awesome time playing and socializing and have no hesitation leaving her there for day care or vacation care.

I've had mixed experiences - previous times have been good, but this last time my cats came back severely underweight, one with a damaged, squinting eye, the other with a torn claw. They're both also completely out of sorts, crying in their sleep and being unusually aggressive towards one another. I'm glad Barnstone called to tell me that they were both unwell and ask if I wanted to send them to the vets, but I'm still shocked at how skinny and unhappy they've come back.

Barnstone at Duffy's Forest is my go-to whenever I need my 2 year old Giant Schnauzer Norman looked after so that I can go away on holidays. They are incredible there. All of the staff are friendly, warm and excited to see Norman every time he comes. They are consistently delightful to Norman and us; and he always has a good time which gives me peace of mind. He always returns home happy and I don't have to worry. Barnstone is my preferred option for a kennel and it is always a disappointment if I can't get in, however that is rare. They are very accommodating and the booking process is seamless. I would recommend them over and over!

Left our Labrador for 10 nights. She came back looking well, very excited, definitely stimulated, happy and tired :) We were sent 2 updates with photos whilst on holiday which was nice. All the staff were really friendly. We will be happy to use Barnstone again!

We left our dog Diego at Barnstone for a week recently. He was a rescue and this is his first time being left in a Kennel. When I picked him up he had tricked all the workers into thinking he was a good boy, and sulked all the way home because he had been having so much fun and didn't want to leave.Will definitely be using Barnstone at Duffy's Forest again (until they realise he is a menace and no longer let him return).

We left our one year old female Maltipoo with Barnstone for 3 weeks stay and train package over Christmas. She came back very happy, healthy and much sharper. Barnstone provided us with regular email update with photos and progress of our dog so we are very happy with the communication. They also provided us with a training video detailing all the tricks our dog has learnt. Good, clean facilities and caring staff. High recommended.

Had by beautiful boys board over the September holidays. The team at Barnstone did not disappoint!!!! Loved the updates while we were away! They both smelt so beautiful when we picked them up! Poor Kaiser had kennel cough after his stay as expected with lots of dogs, a little bit of rest for 14 days did not hurt he definitely needed it lol. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family thanks so much team!! So glad we found you xo
