Nice rooms, very spacious. Modern bathroom and easy parking. Smart TVs were a great touch as well.

Warning!We were given what was supposed to be a free room upgrade. After we had left the motel they charged $50 from my credit card. I ask for the reason and they told me that I have to pay for using the second bed. We were not informed of this beforehand. They probably want to use this scam to sell the larger rooms.

Country Plaza Halls Gap
A well positioned restaurant with large rooms and good quality beds. Although property is old it’s been managed well. It’s a few metres away from the Halls Gap Town centre so it’s a closer proximity to amenities including the Ampol Gas station. You can see Kangaroos, Deer and Ducks around the property each morning/evening so that’s a bonus. Only drawback was the lack of Restaurant due to staff shortage but rest everything was on point.

Just a 3 star type Hotel reasonably clean place2stay. Breakfast took forever to get served....... what are stay there again only if I could not find someplace better.

Decent lovely stay, room is comfortable and bathroom is renovated.staffs are welcome and friendly, didn’t rush us even we were a little bit late for checking out.Deserves a better reviews.

I have never had such a horrible experience at a motel before. After trying to solve a misunderstanding about canceling a room, I was told by the owner to go away as I am wasting their time". I was yelled at and spoken to in a rude a manner. The owners behaviour was completely unacceptable and non professional. I have travelled all around Victoria and have not ever been treated so disrespectfully. I would never recommend anyone to come here

Very neat and well kept room, modern bathroom facilities and a short walk to the centre of town. Only downside was no cutlery aside from teaspoons in the room.

Rooms are fantastic size, view to the kangaroos and emus was surreal. I loved the beds there and thought they were very comfy.Only draw back was for our room with a bath it took 2 hours to fill the tub because of poor water pressure.. the temperature control on shower was a temperamental and was either water so cold it was from the Antarctic or it was hotter than the sunStill would stay again its location was great was just a shame the restaurant was closed

Loved our room! Had a fantastic stay!We got a spa room, which was lovely. Nice big spa. Hot water. Very nice. The room was quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The best one we had this trip. A short walk to the main shops.When checking in, they had a sign to go further down the path and check in at the Vietnamese restaurant. Was an easy check in. We ended up getting our bags sorted in the room and returning to the restaurant for dinner.It was surprisingly hard to do a last minute booking at a lot of places on our recent trip. This place was great. Easy booking process.
