What a great museum! So many different machines and history from the region. I've never seen interactive machinery that is powered and works! I learnt so much. Children would love this museum!

What a surprise package of a museum. I thought the $10 entry fee was steep, but as we moved around each of the nine buildings we were blown away. Great value. The hall of Australian inventions was sensational in its own right.

This is a great place for a visit , has many really interesting exhibits and is set out quite well. the staff very warm and friendly and the museum is much bigger then it first appears . give yourself a good few hours to really get around and see it all. it has both outside and undercover displays.well worth the time for a look

I was so impressed with this place seemed it went on forever. The volume of wonderful antiques and history driven information was amazing. I just don't know why I haven't visited this place sooner. There is something for everyone and the very professional way they have put together their displays will amaze you. The couple volunteering to run this are truly inspirational and couldn't be more helpful. Worth a visit ? 100%

Incredible! A big thank you to the many volunteers who maintain the heritage of Millthorpe for our ancestors and generations to come in this wonderful museum. A special thank you to Rose, Phil and Hayley who have gone out their way to help me get as much information and images of my family history, the Rockliff" family as possible. Millthorpe is a tiny town but big on history and heart. If you come to Bathurst

This a great museum in the beautiful town of Millthorpe. It's actually quite substantial for a small town like this. There is local, war, agricultural, education history. There's an onsite blacksmith (not operating on the day we visited) and a craft shop. Lot's of machinery including a massive tractor they managed to salvage from a local farm. Well worth a visit, give yourself an hour or so for a general look around.

A very charming museum with lots of fun and interactive displays. Perfect for the family to explore. But the true gem is the craft cottage, lots of locally made accessories and delicious jams and preserves. Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area
