Chris was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend anyone looking for lighting advice and products here. Chris is extremely knowledgeable on all things lighting and even though we knew exactly what we wanted he walked is through the features of each product and then even more impressively talked us through selecting the right kind of globes! With the boxing Day sales we able to get an amazing deal on our lights and beacon were only to happy to store or lights for as long as possible. Thanks Chris!!

I am disgusted at the total disregard for our situation. We needed 3 fans installed over the hot period here in Melbourne for my elderly in laws who are in there 90's. We purchased 3 fans and 1 light for the fan. We had an independent electrician install 2 of the fans however the third fan for their bedroom was faulty and the light was sold to us without a globe. After following the warranty procedure that took way too long I received a call to let me know that Beacon would replace the fan and would also send out an electrician of their own to install the fan. When the Beacon lighting (so called electrician) arrived she said that she could not install the new fan. Anyway after 2 more days of waiting for the Warranty department to explain I am no closer to having the fan installed. All I wanted is for Beacon to tell me if they could install the fan Yes or No. So I have called my independent electrician who was also baffled at their explanation. Beacon need to realize that their laziness, unprofessionalism and total dis-regard for real service and our situation has real world consequences, as two 90+ people are left waiting in this heat for over a week for this to be resolved. A total lack of ownership and a couldn't give a stuff attitude in particular from the Warranty Department has made this a horrible experience. We now need to wait for another 6 days for a real electrician to come and install the fan. It would not let me post with 0 stars, but I definitely mean 0 stars.

Very helpful Staff in a beautiful stocked store. Unfortunately they didn't have the replacement bulb I needed for an old light, but still gave me advice on another possible supplier. They also suggested economical alternatives if the lights had to be replaced, that used LED bulbs that were readily available. Such a positive experience. Thank you Stephanie. I'll be back.

A special shout out to Sam yesterday Friday the 13th of May at Beacon Lighting Balwyn North!I went in to discuss getting new lights and was truly happy with the service I received from Sam there.She was really informative, even received great feedback from the staff in regards to an area we are trying to get lighting for and they just went the extra mile to make our day.Have had issues in the past with other suppliers in regards to products ( not Beacon Lighting) . So it’s just nice to deal with someone who is super friendly!

Really disappointed and a waste of time. Wanting to buy 20 globes for our business and was told by a friend to try Beacon rather than shop online. Came in with a working globe to match and was told by staff member she has nowhere in the store to plug the globe in to match. So you sell bayonet globes but you have zero bayonet lights to plug into? WASTE OF TIME REALLY DISSAPOINTED BEACON...no wonder online shopping is taking over...
