We were holding our breath waiting for our couch to arrive. We were fully expecting it to be awful, as shopping online can be a disaster at times. We couldn't believe it when the couch arrived, in perfect condition, well packed and easy to assemble. The leather is absolutely stunning and the colour is an exact match to the sample. Super comfy and great seat width. Although there were multiple delays, we can't blame the company, as Covid has disrupted the world. I would definitely recommend Desired Living to family and friends. The communication was always well managed and all questions were answered. Overall, extremely happy with our purchase.

James was very helpful and personable and took his time to assist us in the selection of our leather sofa. The experience itself and the quality of the furniture made it an enjoyable experience and I didn’t feel the need to look elsewhere. We received our L shape modular last week and it looks great. Very happy with our purchase. Only assembly required was putting on the legs but otherwise once unboxed it’s very easy to set up! Will return

We have purchased a sofa from desiredlivng. We have placed the order in June and expect the delivery on August. It was delivered in Dec after numerous phone call and follow ups. The delivery was super slow and poor response to the phone calls and email from Melbourne office. The overall experience was not really pleasant.

Was hesitant buying given previous reviews all talked about the long lead times and delays.But not much negative comments about product quality. So we bought something that was in stock from them. Delivered within 5 days of payment. True to form, happy with our purchase as the quality was indeed good value and great for the price. We are looking for a recliner for our theatre room so might roll the dice with these guys again. No rush given our second room is not as urgent so we can wait. Thanks.

Where do i start. One year ago i rang and advised my two seat cushions are peeling. Obviously not leather like i was told. I was told they ordered me to new seats that was in May 2022 and it would take a couple of months. A couple of months later they told me logistic issue. By the start of 2024 the excuse was everything closed for Chinese New Year. After many emails and phone calls that were even unanswered i got advise April 2023 to expect delivery. I contacted them again and asked when is the delivery date and got told they will send a technician out to fix. Give us a couple of weeks. Melbourne store stopped answering phone calls. I was advised from their Sydney store that Melbourne store its closed and then a month later Sydney told me Melbourne open Friday and Saturdays only. I then asked whats going on with the technician no one is responding to emails anymore or getting back to me. Sydney store wouldnt and couldnt even give me a contact in warranty to call. They told me they should contact me in 48 hours. Of course no contact as per usual. Excuses Excuses like there a new person doing warranty now but i still havent received any emails or phone calls. So unorganised and not a business that is honest. Do not buy from them because there is no support when your couches start peeling. I will need to take this further now because one year of many many emails and phone calls is more than enough.

I value this place for its transparent pricing. Period. We checked out some other places which at first appeared cheaper. Then when you start asking questions of what leather they used, the truth comes out and they are using either cheap synthetic or bonded leather. And when you ask what would be cost for genuine top grain leather, the price blows out !! I was assured that Desired Living only uses top grain cow hide leather and comparing like for like, it definitely. offers much better value. We have had our couch for 2 months now and so far no issues.

I don’t normally leave negative feedback for businesses at this size, as I value people's effort to build something from ground up, but unfortunately I have to leave this here.I ordered a full set of lounge for $5.5K back in Sep 2022, and was told the delivery would be late Nov. Didn’t received a heads up for any delays, so I sold my old couch closer to date. Well, it wasn’t delivered until mid Feb 2023, and left me without a couch during the Christmas (having some guests from overseas).This is NOT even the worst part.They came with 2 defects (torn leather – 10 & 15mm) and I followed up with the warranty. Someone called me and we spoke over the phone, but no news after that whatsoever. They don’t even bother to respond to my emails anymore. I will probably take it with the Consumer Affairs Victoria from here.I don’t mean any harm to their business, and I will provide updates if circumstances change. Just want people to be aware of what may (or may not) happen when dealing with these guys.

Do NOT buy anything here !Worst customer service ever.Cheap leather quality and you gotta wait for 9 months for your goods to be delivered but not yet, you still have to wait for another piece for another 3 months to have a proper sofa lounge.Do you know how frustrated it is to keep waiting for your delivery and everytime you call, you got the same answer that you delivery would be next week in the rudest and meanest way? Worst customer service I have ever met in my life.It is just not worth your time and money to buy anything here.
