Had an amazing stay here in a quiet, clean, comfortable cottage. There are great views / walks from the farm, and we were able to gather some veges and fruit from the garden for our meals. Would certainly stay again.

We stayed in the Old Farmhouse and it was the perfect size for 4 adults and a toddler. The accommodation had everything we needed in the various rooms. The surrounding grounds were kept in great condition with pretty garden beds, abundant veggie garden, great BBQ area, fun playground and an awesome nature walk around the property. Really couldn't recommend this place any higher!

Just amazing! Sassafras is exactly what you're looking for in a relaxing rural retreat. Beautiful setting, well appointed homes and an attention to detail that you just don't often see. Grant and the team are incredible! Staying here felt like stepping back into my childhood country home. Fresh air, golden sunrises and the sounds of chooks out back. Honestly this is the ideal place to relax, write that novel, dream up that new business concept or spend some serious time in nature. Keep up the great work team!

Fantastic spot to launch our day trips/walks into the Mt. Field National Park.Excellent presentation. Clean & warm. Excellent cooking facilities and bathroom. Lovely shower. Manager very accommodating.

We had a great time here! Beautiful surrounding with lots of outdoor things to do for kids. Everybody (including Mojo the next door pony) was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back here and finding the platypus in the dam!

We loved our stay in the Raspberry Cottage! We felt so catered to, the woodfire was set up ready to be lit, the place was so cosy and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The organic vege patch was an extra bonus, being able to pick a few things to add to dinner. The location is stunning, so secluded and peaceful beside the rainforest. Our kids absolutely loved it! There were so many extra touches that added to their experience and in turn, ours.

We stayed in the Raspberry cottage as a family of 3 in January 2023. We loved the entire property and the cottage was gorgeous. The creek walk on the property was great and our 6 year old loved Treasure Island. We all loved the chooks and the vegetable garden where we picked fresh snow peas and beans to go with our dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!Thank you to Grant and his family for making our trip to Tasmania unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone with kids or without that likes relaxing in the countryside.

Beautiful location not far from Mt Field national park. Very friendly hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent facilities. Beautifully maintained veggie patch and fruit trees - help yourself to fresh produce, plus fresh eggs each morning from the laying chickens. Kids had the best time. Good value for money.

Perfect place for everyone. Families, Couples or alone.Nice garden with delicious veggies. Beautiful little forest walks on the property. Lot of wildlife. We loved it
