The technician arrived on time to repair my dishwasher and was efficient - it was a job well done

Very unprofessional service. They agree to see oven at 150$ and the guys came and he was not even able to speak english and not understanding anything. he need help so my husband help him to pull oven out to check and he drop and my husband got injured and he run to emergency as his vain was cut and he spend almost 5 hours there. Even after he hurt that guy didn't even look once or apologies and he send him picture from hospital he didn't reply to him sorry message. And he didn't repair the oven and he charged us $321 which is not as agreed. And we paid 428 at hospital. I send query on website till date no one replied. Incident happened on 24/03/2023 and still no one picking the call. And other oven guy straight away recognized issue in panel and charge all together only 320 with repair and service. I will go to fair trading for this but I would like to other people know that don't use this service at all. Very unprofessional and not trustable

Technician was here for 10 seconds before saying that the washing machine was not worth repairing. He wanted $193.80 - I said that's not what the website said". Then he charged the full call out fee of $150 plus GST ($15) plus card fee (3.80). He wanted to charge an extra part "labour" fee of $25 but I refused to pay the extra $25 as the "view" (he did not do anything other than glance at the front of my washing machine) took less than 30 seconds. In the end I paid $168.80 for the technician to look at the front of the washing machine and say it was not worth repairing. That whole exercise took less than 30 seconds. I suggested he absorb the GST or give me some discount as he had spent less than 30 seconds looking at my washing machine and less than 90 seconds in my house (payment took another 60 seconds). He responded that the fees are clear on the website. I said to him that there is no option to upload a video so you could have told me for a lesser fee that there is no point repairing it. I also said there is no mobile to send a video to so one can save the call out fee and pay a lesser fee. He was not interested."

Excellent customer service. Extremely good communication. Fast. Reliable. Professional. Friendly… and the washing machine was fixed to perfection

RUN A MILE. The technician came and said back tomorrow with part. This call out cost $235. Waited, no one arrived. Took six days for company to answer the phone. Said you need to pay for part before we order it. Charged $199. Waited and waited. They did not ever return husband's phone messages over the eight weeks wait. I rang and phone eventually answered but no one spoke. I inquired if this was A1 and got a yeah. When I explained who I was when would part be in he hung up on me. Left message going to Fair Trading and got a text from a technician stating don't go through reception they know nothing. We said waited long enough and needed issue resolved so they cancelled order. Next day said had part do we want to go ahead with job. Part $199 and labour $146. We declined. Had another technician come from another company, he had the part in his van $65 not $199 A1 quoted. He then said that a part had been taken and that part he needed to order and replace it was $28. All up he charged $200 and $20 GST. A1 wanted all up Initial visit $235, part $199 and labour $146. Total $580. Still waiting for reply about returning part he took without our knowledge or consent. Had to put a star in to post this but would not give any star at all.

Technician came out and spent a hour or so replacing the pump which he had classified as the issue. Quoted me $570 but when I complained about the amount he rounded it down to $500. However, 30 mins into the first cycle the machine stopped working again and when requested the same technician came back and told me actually it was the power board that had gone. Charged me another $50 for the privilege. Then after I followed up 2 weeks later, was told that this power board was no longer in production. No further responses to my messages. End up having to buy a brand new machine - should have done that in the first place :(

BEWARE! Terrible service. “Technician” does not speak English and does not understand anything you say. He came to assess my dishwasher for $270 only to say that the rubber seals need to be replaced and left. I ordered seals from him and he came a few days later. He ended up breaking and denting my dishwasher to the point where it is no longer useable and abruptly left my house. Very unprofessional service and probably unqualified technicians. Do not recommend!

So grateful to the team at this business. Took the time to understand my problem and do checks over the phone and then fixed my issue at a very reasonable rate within a day. Very responsive. Others I called seemed more interested in the call out fee, 10min increment fees and likely cost of parts. Glad I tried these guys first.On the subject of their previous bad reviews, I believe they no longer reflect the trustworthiness of this business who has recently done a lot to improve it.Highly recommend.
