Dance World Wollongong

As a previous student of Dance World myself many years ago. It was time to come home and be apart of the Dance World family again in 2020. My daughter absolutely loves being in all her classes with all her amazing, caring and very talented teachers who go above and beyond for all their students. It’s a fantastic atmosphere from the minute you walk in with welcoming staff and lots of chatter and giggles from the kids waiting for class.We honestly love being with the Dance World family. We couldn’t recommend them enough

I love being apart of the Danceworld family!! Such a friendly and positive environment. The studio offers a variety of styles of dance taught by qualified dance teachers. If you are passionate about dance or are interested in a new hobby… come to Danceworld it’s the place for u!!

I hate to think my child is being taught by a BULLY as i expect this in a school but not at a dance studio where you are there to teach and the parents pay. I wouldn’t Pay to have my child treated like they are second rate citizens.

My Daughter absolutely loves going to Danceworld! She has made some great friends there and loves all the different styles of dance they have on offer. The teachers are all supportive and nurturing. It really is a fun inclusive place for a child to explore and develop a life long love of dance :)

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS! only giving one star so that I can leave this negative review. Based on my experience it should be 0/5 stars!I contacted danceworld to see if they could do a group salsa lesson for a hens night I was a part of planning. The first red flag should have been that there was no response to my initial email for a week and 2 phone calls went unswered. I eventually got through by phone to see if they had received my email (submitted through their website) he said yes he had received it (why he didn't respond I will never know but I didn't think much of it at first) he agreed that he would be able to do the lesso and requested I emailed them the details. I emailed it all through and I felt that I needed to get written confirmation in response, so I asked him to confirm via email or text. He sent me a text message confirming that they had received the booking and that the date and time was fine with them.On the night of the hens all 8 women arrived in pitch black darkness, on a freezing cold July night on a deserted street in an area none of us were familiar with. The doors were locked and the lights were off. I called Doug to inform him we were there. He admitted he had completely forgotten and advised us there was nothing he could do as the floors had just been repolished. Absolutely shocked and very embarrassed I had to inform everyone who had taken the time to come out and celebrate that he had forgotten about it and having already collected money off the guests (to make it easier for the teacher) I had to get change in order refund everyone.I am thankful I didn't pay a deposit but our night was almost ruined because of this! If you do book with this company be sure to remind them of your booking probably more than once because clearly remembering your booking is something they don't prioritise.Never going to recommend Dance World to anyone I know!!!If they haven't already, I suggest the owners of this company head straight out to office works and buy a diary today! Appalling service.
