Wowee! What a great find, amazing, amazing fresh and tasty fish and chips with a Greek influence! Beautiful ingredients, extensive menu that covers all the normal fish and chips and beautiful options both fried, fresh and healthy. Alcohol available too and Alida menu. Good outside dining space and indoor available too. Friendly and attentive staff. Must try!

The actual fish (blue grenadier) was flaky and moist but also tasteless. the batter was so thick and doughy (picture) fried in a VERY old oil it tastes metallic and made me feel sick afterwards.Chips were good, tartar sauce was also good, the grilled shrimp were nice but nothing to write home about.overall, wouldn’t go there again as Hunky Dory is just around the corner or even better go to Northern Soul Chip.

I came into Pony Boy at Albert Park last week with a friend and I have to share my great experience! The food was amazing (especially the burgers, we can’t recommend them enough!). The food came out very quickly and the customer service was exceptional, the girl at the front was very welcoming and patient and always had a smile on her face. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a bite to eat. Another benefit is the prime location!

One of the best fish and chips in Melbourne ( if not the best at the moment ) I’ve been coming here for years, it almost feels like it keeps getting better each time, Good size serves and very consistent food quality 10/10 for the staff, Very clean shop, Well done to all there!

I have been to this place twice in three days! That's saying something!!! Absolutely delicious food! I'm a big fan of the salt and pepper calamari.. yummmmm...been meaning to take pics...but I guzzle it too quick! Fish is outstanding too!Service outstanding! Great team in place. I am not only recommending ...but I'll probably be going there this weekend!!!

Great chatting with Trif (short for Trifon, yes, he's Greek and you would've guessed it from the fresh wall tiled artwork and on the ceiling). He named the business as his cousin liked the character of Pony Boy from the book The Outsiders.Tried the Old School Fish & Chips with Flake being the fish. Light, crispy batter with a mild tartare and large wedge of lemon. Chips, terrific. 10/10With a bottle of Remedy Organic Kombucha Passionfruit flavour, $22. Great value. I'll be back!

An absolute shame. Food is a solid 10/10, it was the go to fish and chip spot for me. Service from a young dark haired girl wearing grey Dickies pants completely ruined the spot. Customer service was beyond terrible from this team member. Telling a customer, who is quite clearly older than you “no you definitely ordered this my love” was unbelievably condescending, effectively telling the customer you’re wrong and I am right. Rather than trying to solve a problem, the team member instead chose to take a different route. Customer service is definitely not on the cards for this team member. Leaning on the counter, hand on hip as customers come in and barely greeting them. If you don’t want to be at work, best to not show up again and save the hassle for the business.

Had an amazing Sunday Lunch at this place. We had a beautiful Seafood Salad & some Burgers made by their Chef Marco (that's what I heard when their wait staff called him) unbelievable chef, fully controlled even under pressure making sure every dish he sent or cooked was in line. Honestly, that guy knows what he's doing. The burger he made for my son was just spot on, I had a bite and it is absolutely tasty & probably the best burger I ever tasted in a while. We will definitely be coming back & get more of their burgers. Great location, but they need more wait staff tho.All in all. They deserved my first 5 star google review. Big Thank you to the chef & others for making our lunch out enjoyable.

Chips are closer to fries (turns out to be a good thing), but very tasty and crispy. Fish was great, not at all greasy.Good food all round, not oily, reasonable price.Probably the best fish and chips I've had so far in Melbourne. Though please get some curry sauce and mushy peas for the Brits!
