Do not use this business. I took my coffee machine for repair, paid $123 for them to take at it then $183 to fix the fault. Took the machine home and the original fault remained so back we go. They call and said oh it’s a different problem that will be another $121 to look and $350 to fix the original fault. We questioned why we should pay again when they didn’t fix it the first time. Pauline was rude and abrupt and not helpful at all. I will never recommend this business to anyone and they deserve zero stars !!!

*AVOID THIS PLACEI don't enjoy leaving negative reviews but the experience with Prestige Electronics justifies it. Without getting into all the detail, my experience was essentially the same as that of many of the one star reviews below. If you try to challenge the multiple $120 labour charges incurred, they just drown you in their legalistic interpretation of their terms of service. Their overall approach to customer service is poor (in store, they derided my attempts to challenge what I viewed as unjustified charges as wasting everybody's time". If you look below

Our espresso machine died a week before Christmas. These guys were friendly and professional. Originally they didn't think they could get replacement parts before Christmas, but they kept us up to date regularly and somehow managed to work magic and get our Breville unit fixed on Christmas Eve! We were SO impressed and delighted not to be drinking pod coffee on Christmas Day! I'd love to rate their customer service 12/10 if I could!

I sent Prestige Electronics a big thank you for the outstanding repair they made to my 25 year old Samsung VCR. It quite literally works better than it did when I bought it new in the late 1990s, as it had always had slightly unreliable tracking and uncertain sound reproduction. I now have a sharp picture, no tracking issues and clear sound using, in some cases, 40 year old video cassettes. The repair person obviously took extraordinary care in reconditioning the unit. Needless to say, Prestige Electronics can expect me to be a return customer.

Excellent customer service all round. My repair request was not an easy one but the whole process was managed beautifully by Pauline. I cannot thank Prestige Electronics enough for working with DeLonghi to provide me with a more than satisfactory result. Prestige Electronics would have to be the most terrible service I have ever engaged. Pauline is possibly one of the most unpleasant people I have ever come across in the service industry.Her fraudulent and incoherent explanations are beyond belief. The denial I received after questioning their reassurance three times that they are an Authorised Kitchenaid repairer was gobsmacking.Businesses have an obligation to be honest in their dealings and this business is not honest!Please do yourself a favour and get your repairs done elsewhere.

I recently bought a second hand coffee machine which has unfortunately since broken. Upon doing some of my own research and investigation, I found that the problem was almost certainly a faulty solenoid valve. I took the machine and this information to PE and asked them for a quote to replace the faulty part. I was told that a $121 assessment fee was required for them to conduct their own due diagnostics, with the condition that this assessment fee would be deducted from the final cost. PE informed me over the phone that my suspicions were correct and that to continue with the repair, I would need to pay an additional $229, for a total of $350. I asked for a breakdown of the cost which was listed as parts, workshop consumables, and labour, each at roughly $70, $30, and $129. I decided against repairing with PE and was immediately met with abrupt curtness and a dial tone. I went in to collect my machine in the morning and spoke with Mark, and asked him for a more detailed breakdown and explanation of the costs, which he attempted to provide me before he was interrupted by Pauline. The next twenty minutes of talking to Pauline trying to get the remainder of the information I was looking for was spent enduring childish antics such as being ignored, spoken over (often with the same phrase, it has already been explained to you

Extremely professional and caring team, repaired and returned a niche 32:9 screen on the same day as drop off. Even made sure to double test it was in working order after I fumbled it on the way out the door :) Works wonderfully now thank you team!

Very disappointed with Prestige. As they are the authorised service agents for Engel refrigerators, I dropped my faulty fridge to them for diagnosis, accepting their terms of an upfront payment of $132 for the purpose of assessment with the understanding that that amount would go towards the cost of repairs should they be able to undertake the necessary work. The following day I was contracted by them to be be told that the parts necessary for the repairs were no longer available due to the age of the appliance. While I understand this, I feel that as they were the authorised repairers for Engel, they should have known at that time that the parts would be unavailable and that the repairs were never going to be possible which would have negated the need for any quotation in the first place. It is not reasonable to have to pay that amount of money just to be told something that I already knew in that the appliance was not working, or that parts were no longer available for this appliance, especially not from an authorised service agent. I will follow this complaint up with Engel themselves, in an attempt to resolve this grievance.
