A disaster. Imagine you buy a house from a plumber. He says he has to put a water tank in because the house adjoins another property by one metre. They botch up the job big time, the tank is not on a base and sinks. The backyard is a mess. They come back and spend five days messing around and pump the rainwater out of a tank into tanker. When the tank is put back on what is still a very bad surface, the water is brown. Suddenly no response, no action and they still haven't put our fence back. We could have taken legal action as the circumstances of the sale warranted it but we gave him a chance to make it good. He has messed up big time. And we are left with a big mess to clean up.
