After 11 years, the performance of our eight solar panels had dropped off significantly. Xtraclean did an excellent job of removing all the lichen and other dirt covering the panels. Photos were taken before and shared so I could see their pre-clean state.Xtraclean we’re here for 4 hours and used lots of elbow grease and their filtered, deionised water system to clean the panels. They were sparkling clean at the end and post-clean photos were taken.The following day I was sent all the photos. There was a considerable increase in solar yield. A great job, communication was prompt and they arrived on time. I’ll definitely be cleaning the panels more regularly from now on.

We had our solar panels cleaned in May after having them inspected by Jamie a couple of months before. We couldn't believe how much dirt,lichen and even bird's nests were present on and around the panels. On completion of cleaning the panels they looked brand new.A very reputable company, friendly to deal withand extremely safety conscious.

We had our solar panels cleaned by Jamie at Xtraclean on 30/1. Initial inspection was done in December but they were heavily booked so couldn't get done till January. Our panels hadn't been cleaned in the 2 years since we had purchased the property and we were not aware of when they had been done prior to that (although neighbours had noticed previous owner up on garage roof cleaning occasionally).The panels were quite dirty with a number of contaminents from diesel soot, bird droppings,some lichen,dirt from nearby construction (clearing work) and no doubt the Pakenham station construction. Jamie used hs specialised equipment to filter, distile and deionize the water and didn't use a high pressure hose which can damage the panels. Panels are back to crystal clear glass and the power performance has increased dramatically.In December on inspection the inverter was showing a PV output of 623 w on a direct sunlight day. When started around 8.00 am on 30/1 (overcast day) it was 224 w and on completion (still overcast) it was up to 1157 w. We have since taken a photo on a direct sunlight day at 2.30 pm and inverter reading was up to 3000 w. My husband has even seen it above 3000 w one day last week. Needless to say we are very pleased with the output performance of our panels since Xtraclean did their work.We are yet to receive a electricity bill covering the period since the clean but are expecting a marked improvement.We are happy to recommend Jamie (and wife Lucy) and their family run Xtraclean business. From inspection, quote, work done, invoicing and follow-up they were professional and thorough and a lovely, friendly couple to deal with.We look forward to many more of the current sunny days that will maximise our power performance. Xtraclean Solar & Skylight were polite, gave fantastic customer service. The company new exactly what they were talking about and how they could assist me and my family. The work was done in a professional manner. My Solar panels were dirty with moss, other forms of growth, bird droppings, dirt from planes. Once cleaned and checked for service, my Solar was working so much better.

Thank you Jamie for doing a fantastic job on my pannels and it's great to see my power input has increased greatly. I would highly recommend Jamie for all your solar cleaning, just look at my pictures for proof.

Jamie did a most thorough job on my panels - they now look like brand new and the boost in output from them is very marked.
