I have been a student of Mick for over 15 years and I consider him to be the best martial arts instructor that I have met. Mick’s accomplishments as a competitive fighter, martial artist and as a coach of many champions are a testament to his skill as a martial artist, and his ability to coach his students to the highest level. He is someone who has brought out the best in me as a competitive kickboxer, but has also been an incredible mentor who I owe a lot my life successes to. I hold MIck in the highest regard, and would highly recommend him as a coach, particularly for children and young adults.

I walked into Mick's door at Kingsford in 1987 then followed him onto Sutherland in the 90s watching him not only produce champions in the sport , but bringing out the best in all students for whatever reason they trained.. For a lot of students he became a life coach and a great mentor , and good friend to many. I think it's fantastic that students still have the opportunity to learn from the very best there is..
