Stoneideas just repaired the south wall of our heritage listed cellar at Kay Brothers. Undid decades of well-intentioned but poor maintenance to bring it back to original 1890's condition. It looks superb.The team was a model of efficiency and a credit to the company. On time everyday, as tidy as you could wish for given the job, helpful, polite and cooperative. Sam and the team at Stone Ideas rebuilt and re-pointed our bluestone fronted cottage in Parkside recently with much success and professionalism.Their traditional methods and experienced workmanship was what attracted me to hire them, and they did not disappoint. Stone Ideas fixed our chimney and did a bit of salt damp work on our kitchen wall. They drilled holes in the wall and filled it with chemicals and said to leave it for 12 months. 16 months later I rang and asked what further needed to be done to fix it. Sam Pentelow initially denied having done the salt damp work and then was very rude over the phone to me. Then hung up on me. Wall is still a mess. This is what it looks like 16 months after I paid them $1,518 for salt damp treatment. I received no help from Sam Pentelow to fix it, just insults.

After having a quote on our rental property completed we decided to go ahead with StoneIdeas. Not only did the work get completed quicker than expected but they adjusted the quote to reflect the work savings us hundreds. Would highly recommend.
