Good service and really good fish and chips. Chips are always crisp and golden and the flake is consistently good quality. Zesty calamari is well worth a try. Can get very busy Friday evenings so call early.

So so disappointed in our purchase tonight. The chips are black potato cakes soft and not nice and fish was ok. Chicken nuggets were not the best either. Did try to ring but no response.

As a local, we're very lucky to have the lovely couple managing Hook to Plate and their staff.I really enjoy their quality-battered flake, chips and occasional pickled onion. Great potato cakes, and I will try the hamburgers sometime as recommended by another customer. Thank you for looking after us especially 2020.

I ordered a Hamburger with tomato, lettuce, onion & cheese with tomato sauce & four steamed dim sims with soy sauce.The Dim Sims were perfect however the burgerwas disgraceful. the beef was overcooked,there was very little tomato and no tomatosauce. Maybe they dont listen to customerswhen taking orders?Overall, disappointing. Wont go back.O'Shannassy fish shop in Sunbury is way better!

For my meal I ordered a steak sandwich, chips, and both fired and steamed dim sims. The steak from the steak sandwich was terrible. Chewy and dry. That I couldn’t finish it. Went on to the chips. They weren’t bad until I realised there was hair on my chips that I couldn’t finish any more of the food.

Worst fish and chip shop ever.I ordered and got told 20 minutes.Got to the place and had to wait another 25 minutes.My Hamburger was absolute garbage.And my fish and potato cakes were under cooked.I recommend if you want to get food poisoning from this place

The fish (barramundi) is always delicious. Chips are good but not consistent. Pickled onions inedible.
