I was working with Jacky from Furnart on some small renovation work for my new apartment, including installing electric fireplace & lights, changing wardrobes sliding doors, adding some decoration.To be honest, it was really hard to find a company in Sydney that is willing to help on such small-scale renovation, but Jacky was really kind to offer helps and provided the quote within a week. Jacky and his team delivered professional services on time and my apartment looks amazing after 2-week renovation done.

Great job from a very hard working team. We used Furnart to remove old carpets, built in wardrobes and built in shelving, removing internal walls, replace a large window, new LED down lighting and have the rooms ready for painting and new carpets. The team were always on time and and happy to discuss the process. Good quality control and attention to detail. We engaged Furnart to do a bathroom full renovation, replacing external windows, internal vintage doors, major external and internal painting, and various cosmetic / minor renovations such as replacing fittings, replacing wardrobe sliding doors, cabinet adjustment, etc.Jacky is good to deal with, communicative and always available, experienced, knowledgeable and gave us a lot of practical advice in items we wouldn't have thought about. His price is competitive and we're impressed with his willingness to help and flexibility, even in small items which we don't think other builders would be as helpful. He sticked on the budget and timeline; his quotes and the way he communicated variations were good.He asked us to buy the PC (prime cost) items and finishes such as tiles; gave us a lot of good contacts such as flooring and bathroom suppliers. He followed up regularly to make sure we provided the items in line with his program.Working with an old house, there were some surprises which Jacky proactively informed us: a blocked sewer pipe, an old hot water system suddenly stopped working, the original building being not plumb / straight, etc.To get the best out of him and his team, especially with design-sensitive items, we suggest to be very specific with communicating your expectations (photos, drawings, and the like), asking for sample photos to get an idea of what the final result will be like, and double checking the suitability of PC items to ensure they are suited to the project.Renovations can be hectic and stressful at times, but overall we are satisfied with Furnart and would use their services again.
