Kew Community Recycling Centre

Been there a few times, staff is always helpful and nothing is ever too hard. Prices seem reasonable as well.

Excellent Facilities! Super friendly and profesional staff !We give up our weekend to tidy up and manage to make two trips to the Kew CRC . I have prepared myself to visit a Tip... in my mind an unpleaseant place smelly and unsightly , how wrong I was the Kew CRC was easy to access , it is well planned, clasified for every tipe of waste marked with signs. The gentleman attending STEVE was very helpful and professional he give us, clear instructions where things will go, actually felt good to dispose unwanted things the right way . My impresion is that this place is well runned, the staff deserve a big thanks!

I hired a small truck and had house hold general waist and some scrap metal and was turned away. He said it was commercial waist. try and do the right thing and get screwed around for it. Now i know why there is so much rubbish dumped on the side of the road and out the bush this council is the worst iv ever seen...

I work there and the facility is well run and housekeeping exceptional the staff work extremely hard to keep it up to public expectations.

So we have had a bit of a Covid inspired clean out and we had a trailer load of various things. I arrived at the ‘tip’ (aka recycling centre) and rolled up to the office. I’d forgotten to bring a mask so rustled around and found an old one on the floor ‘that’ll do!’ (Did I mention I borrow the car? Hence I have no idea which of the family wore that mask or how long it had been on the floor) anyway the guy at the tip was great. Check my trailer and told me clearly where to take each item. He even came and gave me a hand because he saw I was struggling to unload. Everything is stacked in their own place. They are very serious here about recycling so you can go to the tip and feel good that you really have done something to slow global warming and allow your grandchildren to live a little longer. Overall I was super impressed with this set up. As I left I felt happy to have been a part of the solution to help others. I took off my mask and put it back where I found it ready for the next person when forgets their mask.

It's a little beauty here just to get your tirst of water going.
