Avant garde recently installed about 90 sm of Verdan oak to a 3x1 I’m preparing for listing.Owners Sue and John were great to deal with, very responsive, and worked with me through what was best for the house.I’m really impressed with the final result, it looks great and I love the attention to detail. Can’t recommend them enough.

I searched around for some time before deciding to go with their product over all the other competitors due to it being priced the same but having a higher wear rating (AC5). I've just finished installing them and I'm really happy with how well they've come up and so far not so much as a blemish from my 30kg dog on them. Johns service was outstanding from start to finish and the product I chose with the supplied underlay and matching scotia looks and feels great. Would definitely recommend anyone looking at engineered flooring to go here. Thanks again

Best DIY flooring store! John is very helpful and offers loads of advice on how to lay the floor, nothing was an issue and was available anytime. I have used there product 4 years back and we haven't had any issues. Deffently recommend if your looking a good priced quality product with friendly helpful owners.

i searched hi and lo once we decided to go with laminated flooring for our whole house. [ having ripped up 20 year old carpet and vinyl ]We finally arrived at Avante-Garde Flooring. The product they sell is directly imported from Germany and is of the highest quality. AC5 scratch resistant and with a 30 year warranty. The pricing is exceptional, with a wide range of colors, thicknesses and prices to choose from. The owners [John and Sue] are knowledgeable, professional, friendly and extremely helpful. The flooring in our newly renovated house is a highlight and was beautifully laid by Luke. We are truly thankful that we did our business with Avante-Garde and cannot recommend them highly enough. absolutely fantastic on literally every level, informative website, responsive contact form & that was just the beginning. John and Sue were so helpful. We live in a rural area, after looking on the website and then emailing to find out more info we then went into the showroom, we had to colour match for some original flooring in an older house, and John gave us 6 sample boards to bring home and look at on the floor next to the existing floor, at no cost or expectation of purchase, they were helpful just to be helpful. Then once we decided (10mm Red River Hickory for those interested) we were so happy with the service and the product, quality & cost, that we decided to buy what we needed for another part of the renovation that we're not even up to yet.
