Tooradin Boat Ramp

Pleasant place to stop and stretch the legs on the Gippsland Highway. Boat ramp into Westernport Bay with plenty of parking with marked spots or overflow on a large grassy area as well. The nearby park has shady trees, BBQs and shelters as well with tables. A well maintained toilet block has an outdoor cold water shower to rinse yourself off. The very large, level, grassy area near the boat ramp is available for Caravans etc for short stays at a flat $15 a day. No shade, power or sullage etc so you need to be self contained. There are nearby shops for snacks and meals as well as basic supplies. The whole area is absolutely buzzing on weekends. The Lakeside Park on the other side of the Highway has lots of shade, views of the small lake where people fish and grassy areas to spread a picnic rug.

We use this boat ramp all year round. You have to know your tides though, as the water can be very shallow at times . Especially for the larger boats. There are 3 lanes down to the water.

Great little seaside inlet. Love to see fishermen clean their catch and the pelicans getting the scraps. Lovely place for a picnic. Young kids can play on the playground search for mud crabs. Splash in the water Bbq, toilet facilities. Take away shops, ice creamery.

I had not been to Tooradin for over 10 year's and was presently surprised to see how great this little town looks now. Absolutely love the upgrades and will be heading back there in the coming weeks

Excellent boat launching facilities, fish cleaning tables with running water and bins. Public toilets and a nearby Cafe too.

Go for a walk or to fish or to have a family outdoor ...it's fun and beautiful

Very peaceful place to enjoy nature. The heritage cafe is the best go to place to have coffee and nibbles.

A great little ramp! Plenty of good parking . Ramp isnt too steep and not slimy. If at low tied go slow as it's very shallow. Obey markers or you will beach.Update: this ramp (like most of WP) is tidal. Check the tides for the whole day if it's under .4 m you won't be able to launch/retrieve.
