I was booked to see a lawyer but when I arrived at the appointed time I was told that the appointment wasn't in their system so didn't see the lawyer who was in the office but was 'busy'. [Comment retracted at request of owner]. If this is how they operate I would not have much faith in them resolving my legal matters. Very poor client service.Addendum: Both my partner and I took an afternoon off work to see one of your lawyers and due to an error on your behalf didn't see the lawyer in question. The secretary told me I could see a lawyer the following Wednesday which leaves very little time to prepare and submit documents to the Court. I appreciate your lawyers are busy but this has cost me valuable time in preparing a case because now I have to find a trustworthy lawyer to represent me or have to represent myself.

I was a client of Bowlen Dunstan some ten years ago in a family law matter.From the first moment I met Wayne, I started to feel as if someone cared about my needs.He helped me navigate the minefield of family law details.I found them to be efficient and on the ball

Initially, I found Tony to be a polite person to deal with. Via further dealings, found him to be forgetful and confused. On numerous instances he would reference the incorrect file, provide information I further found to be incorrect and would repeatedly ask for the same action to be completed. He also failed to follow client direction.In regard to charges, these were greater than comparison to firms within the area and even those within the city. Price was not commensurate to services received. Additionally he attempted to avoid providing an itemised invoice, when charges were queried raising suspicion.Due to external advice, which followed his inability to action a request, I moved firms as he was incapable of executing the required action and was cautioned by others of his ability.To close out the experience, he threatened to withhold my legal files (following payment made) until I agreed to an undertaking stopping my ability to write a review on the experience externally (google review). The Legal Commission had to intervene in order for files to rightfully be released. In summary an expensive exercise which achieved nothing of what was required.

Review aimed at Tony Bowlen.Poor client service; Had to be prompted before taking action. [approx. 2 weeks late]Sent cheques to incorrect addresses.Claimed to have called while I was on a phone call - he didn't realise my phone shows all received and missed calls. This was a lie.
