We did our car inspection in this garage because we needed to change our plates to WA! We had a an appointment just 2 days after and it was done in 45min! The people are very nice and explain you well! They do not try to charge you more like some other garage…I highly recommend this place

The best place I have taken my car. Nigel was excellent and helped me out so much. Great customer service and kept informed of all work and costs along the way. Will be going back here for sure.

First off, vehicle was not booked correctly for the day I was told, they looked back on their notes and realised they had made a mistake. They accepted the vehicle for its service.Collected the vehicle after a service, asked for tyres to be rotated (was not done) was charged for a air filter clean (was not done) they sprayed tyre shine all over the vehicle and was asked to rectify (was not done). Avoid if you can

It was a very bad mistake to use Platinum Automotive in Cockburn Central (just so that we’re clear that I am talking about the right place).I went in for a DoT inspection. Previously there’s been no problems - but this time I failed. Never fun, but you get that sometimes. So what needs fixing?1. Window tinting.I got the car in NSW and I know that it’s boarder-line. The tinting company thinks it’s a joke, but I need the car to pass so I had the tint scraped off. Expensive, and a pain in the bum, but it’s done.2. Centre car seat belt didn’t have an inertial lock.Here was the big issue for me. It tooka couple of visits to other mechanics to get help with this one. Unfortunately Platinum Automotive had no advice about who to go to, seat belts are an obscure repair, and I’m not really super mechanical. Once I’ve found the right company, I beg the seatbelt place to book me in. I get there, the bloke laughs, jumps in the seat and what do you know! It locks. It locks perfectly. It locks beautifully. It locks every time. If there were an Olympic competition for inertial seat belt locks, my car would be a medalist at least. Thankfully, this trip only cost me a bit of dignity.Because of their rigidity, their inability to assist in sourcing repairs, and mostly for nearly taking my car off the road for a problem that turned out not to exist, I give them one star. I hope never to go there again.

Platinum Automotive just helped me out on my vehicle with an issue that was an easy fix for them but difficult for me and without any charge and with the most friendly customer service. I’m so blown away by their approach and the young guys attitude in helping me out. Highly recommend and will be coming here for all my mechanical needs going forward! Thank you team.
