Garlic Clove Indian Restaurant
Nice warm atmosphere with the walls exposing the beautiful red bricks. My husband and I shared the curry trio. The portions were good and it was delicious! My personal favourite was the butter chicken. The chef took the time to say hi, we appreciated it!

Quality of the food 5/5, tasty and well cooked however lots of sauce and very little meat...3 pieces of chicken in the Korma and 5 pieces of beef in the vindaloo. Service was good. Price average. Service quick and friendly. Unfortunately needed a cab at the end of the night a no assistance provided like let me call you one". Instead got "to Roma Street which is that way". Would we go back...probably not."

Actually the best Indian restaurant I’ve experienced in Brisbane, for real!! Maybe I’m living a sheltered life + I’ve been unlucky.. but the quality of the flavours, the tenderness of the meat, the service!!.. These guys.. I love these guys.. 5 stars for real, eat in, take away, idgaf, just try it! Swear to god

The food here is different in a good way. It tastes authentic and not your pommy love Indian food we get elsewhere. The prices are great and the service is good. But absolutely amazing food. Real uniqylue dishes and flavours. A great drink selection tood. Can't wait to go back

The food watery, small and overpriced ($20 for small veggie korma, mostly sauce).Didn’t live up to 5star reviews at all so I took the time to look through the recent 5 start reviews and noticed that the majority of them had something in common- 5 start reviews for the same three restaurants and sometimes only these restaurants. I assume these are all owned by the same people and therefore do not believe the people making the reviews are legitimate customers at all.Would not recommend at all and we will not be returning. Disappointing. We are Ormeau locals.

Garlic Clove Indian Restaurant
Chef gives us the food with beautiful and innovative presentation! But I couldn't feel any taste. It was different than the last time we had. And my god! So much food colours. Our hand were yellow and red after we finish eating! The lady in the front could be more friendly. We didn't feel welcomed by the way she spoke. Thanks for the Birthday platter. It was so wonderful to find out and try the desserts.

From the moment I walked in until the time I left, everything about this place left a bitter taste in my mouth, and it wasn't just the food.First and foremost, the service was abysmal. It took an eternity for the food.Moving on to the food, I can confidently say that it was one of the worst Indian meals I have ever had. The dishes lacked any depth of flavor or authenticity. The curries were bland and tasted like they had been watered down. The naan bread was dry and stale, completely devoid of the soft and fluffy texture that makes it so enjoyable. The appetizers were greasy and lacked any real taste or texture. It felt like they were using low-quality ingredients or cutting corners in their preparation.The portion sizes were also ridiculously small for the exorbitant prices they charged. I left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied, as if I had wasted my hard-earned money on an empty meal.In addition to the terrible food and lackluster service, the ambiance was far from inviting. The lighting was harsh and overly bright, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. The decor was outdated and uninspiring, adding to the overall lack of charm and appeal.Overall, my experience at Garlic and Cloves Indian Restaurant was nothing short of a disaster.
