The 1st day of 2023, two cars got broke into and lost personal items. We were there witnessing the broken glass windows with the owners.. about 11am. However they can’t do anything coz there’s no camera cctv, we just arrived having lunch so we decided to go elsewhere for hiking instead.

Park here at your own peril!I give this great park a 5 star rating, however ...This 1 star rating is to highlight the increased frequency of car break-ins. Today is 17 January 2023. As far as I can ascertain, there have possibly been at least 7 car break-ins since Xmas. The shattered cars windows left in the car park are evidence of this. Apparently there were once security cameras in both car parks. Obviously replacements are not a priority for I assume the City of Gosnells Council.

Great and Challenging enough walk and well worth the effort. Pretty stunning place to see the wildflowers. Dog friendly (on leash).

Great walk in winter, spring and autumn. Good bird spotting here too. Look out for the illusive Fairy Wrens!

Pretty stunning place to see the wildflowers. Dog friendly (on leash). Not really wheelchair friendly (most of the designated paths are in pretty shocking condition).

The place is good for trek. But unfortunately I visited in summer and the place was totally dry. Place boasts of 6000 varieties of plants which is astonishing. The walk ways for blue wren trail is really good. Spotted blue wren and a few other birds. There is one stop for toilet. No water in the area, but ample picnic spots available. 60 foot waterfall trek is bit tricky but fun

Good walk, path is well maintained. Falls were flowing. Great view of Perth from the top. Picnic and BBQ facilities available. Grade 5 walk can be tough on knees.

Even the occasionally discourteous dog owner (pick up after your animals!) can't diminish the pleasure of a ramble around the hillside. The toilet block at the bottom car park was in pristine condition too.
