I cannot speak highly enough of Melinda and Ethical Choice Buyer Agents. I felt clueless about buying a home, until I was referred to Melinda by a friend. She took all the stress out of finding a property for me, was helpful and communicative always and really worked hard. Even though I knew she had other clients, she always made me feel like a priority. Melinda was punctual, reliable, easy to a work with and helped me buy my forever home. Melinda is an absolute superstar! I wish we'd known about her when we initially started searching for our first house because the Melbourne real estate market is BRUTAL. We missed out on so many houses (and wasted 1000's of dollars on building inspections for said houses) before we engaged her. We were despondent from getting stuffed around by the private process and/or missing out at auctions, and we'd pretty much lost hope that we'd be able to stay close to work and friends/community. Luckily, someone suggested we try a buyer's advocate and Melinda was recommended - I'm so so glad she was! She is equal parts professional real estate gun and caring team mate, and she took over negotiations with so much skill and knowledge straight away, that we were instantly reassured. She talked us through everything and consulted sometimes several times a day and in a really short time managed to secure us a great little place only minutes from where we currently live for an amazing price. Honestly- if you're trying to buy your first home and you don't have a million dollars to spend (or the Bank of Mum & Dad) make room in your budget to engage Melinda because you need someone who's on YOUR side who can play the real estate agents' games for you.
