Belmont Dog Park

Lovely dog park. Vast majority of people pick up their dogs poo. Friendly people and friendly dogs

I only go at night when no one else is there but it's always clean and we'll kept. Good size, plenty of room for dogs to have a good run.

Always such a great atmosphere! People are so friendly and such a super safe space to bring your dog. My boy absolutely loves it.

Finally, a really interesting dog park in the greater Geelong area where dogs can interact with the latest designs in dog play equipment to keep your pooch entertained and even the water freely available, is carefully coordinated so there is no wastage by pushing your foot down and it fills up a nice clean bowl of water (no slimy, re-slurped water at all!) There’s a small area that’s fenced if your pooch may not be too socialised, not ready to interact with other dogs or for many other reasons. The other part has heaps of seating as well and some really interesting exercise equipment.It’s a great place for dogs to socialise as well as the owners.This is definitely a first for Geelong!There’s even a clever place where you can put lost dog toys so hopefully they can be returned to the rightful owner – the whole park is very ingenious!Absolute maximum usage was made of a relatively small space so kudos to the designers of this wonderful dog park and I can’t understand why there aren’t more of these around the whole greater Geelong area?10/10 to the wonderful designers of this park and thank you to the city of Belmont for providing in what would’ve been an otherwise un-used and wasted area, a wonderful, interesting and very modern dog park!

You dont even need a dog !!!!!I'd love to have a dog, so, soooo but I just can't.It's so great to take my kids here on a Sunday to get their fix of pats and doggy fun.Great facilityVery nice people and the dogs just love it. No issues in all the times we've been there.Love the two play spaces for passive" and "active" dogs.Very well done."

We've visited with our new puppy and it's great here. Clean open fenced spaces, friendly dogs and the owners are lovely. Also have toilets nearby too!

We love taking our dogs to meet with their other dog friends. We tend to stay in the small dog areas. Sometimes the bigger dogs get too excited.
