I was in here a few days ago and let me tell you, I have never in my experience been to a better Kathmandu and I’ve been to six stores in total and I’ve been to the real Kathmandu, in Nepal. So I think it’s pretty safe to say I know a thing or two about Kathmandus.Anywho, the staff were so overwhelmingly friendly, I was greeted with a smile and a cheerful “Hello Sir.” To begin I was just browsing, but I neither felt forgotten, or pestered. Once I finally began to ask questions about several Items of clothing I was helped by a very informed young man named Matt. His knowledge was outstanding and his customer service was amazing. At one point he was serving me when a rude woman walked right over to us interrupting and barked, “Do you have other sizes of this?” I say barked because she had about as much manners as a wild street dog. I’ve seen a few street dogs before too.However, without even as much as a flash of shock or anger, Matt turned to the dog woman and said “If you don’t mind waiting Ma’am, I’ll be able to check for you as soon as I’m finished serving this gentleman,” before asking a co-worker who just arrived if they could attend to her.He unnecessarily apologised to me before continuing.Finally after I was helped with my products, I was brought over to the counter and whilst the sale was being put through, dog woman was at it again. I can only assume she hadn’t had her walk that day. But quickly another gentleman stepped in who I found out to be the Manager and served the lady. He was polite had just as much tact for calming her as Matt had.I’d just like to say how outstanding these two were with such a rude person.I know I’ve waffled on a lot, and old timer like me tends to do that. but I really wanted to express what a pleasant experience I had in this store. I felt confident in my purchase, but most of all I was given a level of customer service that I haven’t seen in years. I guess not since I was a fish monger in Kent.Well then, that’s enough from me. Good work Kathmandu Bondi team.P.S. Your green shirts aren’t nice to look at.

Just went to buy a jacket! Guy who was working there was extremely rude!
