New owners took over late 2019. Very good food. Souvlaki was tasty, flake was very juicy but also crispy batter.My only real complaint (and it's not really the owners job to do this) was that we could have paid less $$ if we had put together a couple of the deals" only really noticed this while waiting for our food to cook"

Food was of normal standard, not sure why chips were so yellow and no salt was added even after we were asked potatoes were quite thin in the potato cakes so it was to much batter flavour staff were very pleasant. Thank you .

Amazing fish, chips & steamed dim sims. Good prices and fresh food. Haven’t had such good fish from a takeaway shop in such a long time!

Gave Captains a try this evening, I was impressed. Fresh oil. Well cooked chips and potato cakes. The fish was lightly battered and really nice. The chicken souvlaki was enjoyable. They also take EFT which sets them apart from the cash business three others are into. We were able to order by phone and then pick up. We'll be back.

Yes, you get a lot of food, but poorly cooked. The batter had no crunch or flavour, fish was dry so not properly sealed by the batter, and the chips had some odd yellow colouring added. Fish and fritters were pre-cooked rather than fresh cooked. One of the worse fish and chip meals I have eaten. - so definitely not recommended.
