Nathan was excellent in helping me with products, answering my many questions and providing useful advice on miniature painting from his own experiences in the hobby.I mean I walked in with the firm belief that I would refrain from spending any more on paints and yet I came out of the store with three dropper bottles of vallejo primer and contemplating further purchases. He did something right.Only downside is that some products I wanted was not at that particular store in which Nathan said he will look into it in shipping from other stores or alternative venues/products.Very satisfied with my service.

Nathan's passion for the hobby and customer service is outstanding but the shop suffers the same issues that plague all Hobbycos but because it's a smaller shop they're even worse: limited range, inflated prices, only mainstream model kits, always out of stock of the one thing you need (especially paints!) and a majority of staff who only really seem to know anything about Gundam or Lego.

Nathan is extremely knowledgeable, and more importantly friendly. I had lots of fun and learnt a lot from just talking to him! My wife had to drag me out of the shop and I am sure I am not the only one with similar experience!

Nice to finally have a hobby store in Chatswood, but seriously bad customer service. On two separate occasions the employee didn't acknowledge my presence. When purchasing, did not say at least a hello, made no eye contact, and didn't even offer a receipt. The store might as well use a self checkout system, because even those will welcome you and offer a receipt.

The staff member on duty was on her own but not too busy.She was friendly and helpful but couldn't answer my enquiry. She said that another staff member could answer my questions and she took my details so that they could email me some information.Five days later I am still waiting.They obviously don't want my business and so I will go elsewhere.

Really happy with the service from Hobby Co. It's my Godsons Birthday dinner tonight and I wanted to buy a Meccano set that was not in stock at my local Hobby Co. David from Hobby Co hand delivered it personally from one store to another. Great service

Okay overall. Friendly staff and plenty of great Christmas/birthday shopping gifts. Only problem is the lack of model trains, and in fact recently they've removed all the train sets. I've been advised by the staff to go to the Hobbyco in Town Hall, but it's just too far for me.It would be great if they added at least a decent variety of locomotives and rolling stock at the store. I know I could just shop for them online, but I'd rather just see how it looks physically before making the purchase.I still like going to the shop to buy board games and such, but it's just a shame there's nothing for railway modelers.
