Olivia Grobtuch is the absolute best in Melbourne, and over the years I found that anybody working in the Family Law space hands down agrees that she is. Her excellent reputation proceeds her. Anybody working under her direction is well guided. We had to deal with a particularly nasty case but I am blessed to have had a brilliant team helping me. Ever grateful to Olivia for her wisdom, professionalism, insight and integrity in helping my daughter and I to the best outcomes that the law currently allows. Thank you.

I can not speak highly enough of Kennedy Partners. Deborah Wilson provided me with exceptional service, in a very complex international child relocation case, involving a non-Hague convention country. Throughout the case, Deborah was extremely thorough with explaining every step we took, giving me advise on the best avenues to take and keeping me thoroughly informed. She worked well outside of her normal work hours in order to deal with this complicated case and I felt supported throughout the whole process. I also had support from other members of the Kennedy Partners team and every person I dealt with, acted in a professional, caring way, with a relentlessness to get the best outcome for myself and my children.

I was lucky enough to have Amy Bush recommended to me as a family lawyer. I say lucky because in all my dealings with Amy, I could not fault her. She was patient, empathetic and reassuring. There were instances when I did not agree with her recommendations to which she would explain her reasoning for the recommendation, always looking at the end goal.Unfortunately there was a situation, through no fault of Amy's, where a senior partner sent a condescending and judgmental email about me, to me by accident. She meant to send it to Amy. Through this, Amy remained professional and never lost sight of my best interests. Clearly that could not be said about the senior partner! I am disgusted to think that is how senior partners talk about the company's clients behind their backs, to more junior lawyers.To this day, I would wholeheartedly recommend Amy Bush but I would not recommend Kennedy Partners.

My experience with this family law firm, and in particular, the Principal Olivia Grobtuch & the Associate Amy Bush, at all times exceeded my highest expectation. I was referred by the father of a close friend who recommended Olivia highly to me. Amy and Olivia were a formidable team - super-professional in all respects, highly organised, motivated, focused on what was important and all-round in our best interests, meticulous in their attention-to-detail, of fine judgement in their guidance, with legal skills and relevant experience conspicuously of the highest order - and who clearly put the opposing and the previous law firms I had engaged to shame.Before I requested their assistance, the matter had become stubbornly protracted with multiple Federal and Family Court appearances. This was financially devastating us and for a time I self-represented to economise, which afforded me insight into the legal process and its practitioners. It coincided with a pivotal time in our lives, that saw us overseas in a much divergent time-zone, during the pandemic. When Olivia accepted my sudden request in mid-2020 the matter had persisted for 2½ draining years. With careful thought, they selected Doug Laidlaw as Counsel who aptly complemented their own outstanding professionalism. They managed to read in, appreciate, determine the optimal course of action, and skilfully draw the entire matter to satisfactory settlement in the Family Court in just 6 months.I believe had I been able to engage them sooner it would have saved me considerably even more. My experience with 3 other firms and self-representing highlighted in my mind the deficiencies in the system that many average or worse firms/practitioners feed off or take advantage of to the detriment of those vulnerable.On the converse, I could not recommend Olivia Grobtuch, Amy Bush, Doug Laidlaw and Kennedy Partners Lawyers any higher for their integrity, intelligence, and care and concern by way of competency. It would really be most difficult indeed to think of better lawyers to have in your corner, and who sustained my own at times flagging motivation.They worked tirelessly, above and beyond normal expectations, to make what had dragged on for so long prior look like short work. Moreover, they were absolutely fair, reasonable and unselfish in their charging of fees, given the invariably high quality of their efforts.I cannot recommend them more highly in their field, and without hesitation am happy to provide more specific commentary if needed.

I highly recommend using Kennedy Lawyers . I was given Deborah Wilson name from a friend of a friend . I cant speak more highly of Deborah . She is very professional and straight to the point . As anyone knows ,once a marriage breaks down and children are involved . It becomes very very stressful . Not only did Deborah work out a clear strategy for me to move forward in the family court . Deborah also gave me a lot of empathy on our journey . Deborah stuck to the facts and the truth all the way . She has a very high moral compass . For a family court Judge to call Deborah Wilson a super star in court . Tells you everything about her integrity .

This review is a few years late. I cannot thank Olivia Grobtuch and her team enough for assisting me through a tough time in my life. A separation/divorce is a difficult time and emotions often run high. It is not uncommon that the situation deteriorates into a primary school fight with both parties flinging cow dung at one another. Unfortunately, there exists a subset of predatory lawyers who encourage such behaviour because their remuneration is based on the duration of the saga. I am indebted to the professionalism of Olivia and her team for a resolution based approach. Aiming for a prompt resolution is really the key goal. Now, 6 years later I am happier than ever before and can only sing words of praise for Kennedy Partners Lawyers.
