ACTIVE COMPUTER SUPPORT

I have been using Active Computer Support at Blackheath for many years now and have always been very satisfied with their level of service and their level of expertise. I have recently had a lot of necessary work done on my computer system. I've upgraded to a Linux server for additional protection of my files and I also required an overhaul of my NAS backup system. My Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) required updating too. The staff members at ACS were thorough and knowledgeable and completed all required work within an appropriate timeline. Many small issues brought about by my upgrade were attended to via Team Viewer which was a cost-effective way to troubleshoot. I have been more than satisfied with the quality of work from ACS and will continue to use their services in the future. I have experienced several fairly significant computer disasters over the past few years and the team at ACS has always been able to address all of my concerns with competence. I will continue to support this excellent local business.

After submitting my desktop unit to clear a virus I initially received good service and was pleased to support a local business convenient for me. However I had to return 3 times to get systems completed which was not convenient at all. On the third visit when I expressed that the service had been sloppy there was no apology or regret that I was inconvenienced. Given a week to make good their incomplete work they took no action and indeed refused to do anything. Having paid a great deal of money I consider this an appalling attitude from a small local business.In reviewing their website I have found it to be out of date and dishonest and they don't open on Saturday!Be warned don't trust them.

I bought a new laptop from ACS and was really happy. They set it up for me so I could use it straight away and it had everything on it that I asked for. It was less expensive than I thought and I had the expert support that you don't get in the big shops.

This is the 1st time I have ever reviewed a business. This one is terrible, over serviced, over priced and held to ransom to pick up my computer. I asked for a quote and made several call to see how it was going and got just 1 on return. After 5 days they told me it was ready without having asked if I wanted to spend that much money. It would been only a little bit dearer to buy a new computer.
