Kiewa River Walking Track

Great for young kids fresh water shallow doest run too fast. Walking track is nice & easy.

This 9km return walk to the mouth of the river is rated easy and the natural environment of wildlife makes it very relaxing with seats along the track to sit and admire the scenery. Well worth the effort,

Great picnic spot but a lot of noise from the road

Beautiful spot, not so good for fishing at the moment there is a caution sign that the water is contaminated and says dont eat the fish.

A very pleasant and easy walk.

This is an easy walk but the dirt track can be muddy. The car park is a dirt road that loops. The track weaves along the river on one side and farm land on the other. Every once in a while the track moves close to the river allowing for clear and beautiful views. Other times the track makes its way through the bushland to eventually return to a bend or an exposed river bank. There are huge gum trees, birds, butterflies, and due to recent rain, plenty of green grass. There are a number of weeds and broken down fences and you can feel like it is a mix of an old farm and a nature walk but the surroundings are lush and green and refreshing. It is a very worthwhile walk.

Awesome swimming spot close to Wodonga. Very popular with dogs and kids. Great place to cool off after work just sitting in the stream. 2 swing lines into the water for the big or little kid in us.

What a great spot! Perfect for picnics, swims or just to sit in the river. The dogs love it & so do we.
