This is our second visit in three days to Coffee Club Canelands, Mackay. Do yourself a favour and be sure to have the omelette. Impeccable service and atmosphere, complement the meal.

Sat down and waited to be served. Didn't happen, even when a waitress saw us, avoided my attempt to catch her attention and proceeded to clear the table beside us. The one inside Canelands is much better organised and courteous.

I order a big brekkie everything was overcook bacon so dry could not eat eggs hard for 25 dollars it’s a insult will never go back and it think they should reimburse me stay away

7/07/22: 3/5They have two vegan options now. A smashed avocado toast and the fable meaty mushroom flat grill. I got the fable meaty mushroom flat grill and it was pretty good, very saucy which I liked. I replaced the cherry tomatoes on the flat grill with avocado and I got heaps of avocado.I also got a bowl of chips with vegan mayo which were the best part of the meal. The spice mix they use is delicious.I dined in on a Thursday for lunch and it was very loud and busy. I would recommend booking a table for lunch at this location.A smores flat grill came to our table that we didn't order and then when we went to pay for it the smores flat grill was still on our bill.In 2019: 3/5Good quality, simple food. I got the garden veg pita which had good flavour combinations. It was yummy. I had to alter the meal to make it vegan though.They need more vegan options.

I waited in line to order cause I was ordering from the cabinet. Got there and the girl refused to serve me at the counter???? Told me to go sit down and someone would take my order there. Literally wouldn’t let me order, it was rather silly considering I not only waited in the line, but I was there. She wasn’t polite either and it wasn’t busy. Ended up walking away and going to Laffos Pizza across from it.

This is the THIRD instance we have come to this Coffee Club. But, never again. The three times we have been here, something has gone wrong. 1. Coffee didnt arrive till after our meal - get another machine or a trained barista who can deal with the surges of people. 2. No sugar in coffee and meal was cold. We walked out.3. No cutlery to eat meal with. That should be a given as soon as meal is ordered.A comment about the staff. For Gods sake who died. They need to smile and communicate with their customer. They are too busy talking about their friends to pay attention to the customer. Nothing drives people away faster than gloomy staff not confident in their duties. And when approaching a table, saying, excuse me wouldnt hurt.And last but not least, staff should dress appropriately for hospitality and not casual clothes that look like sacks of potatoes. Same, same with hair, tie it back or wear it up.Coffee Club has a great reputation, but this one will go broke unless the staff are given more training.

Made and order to have a drink and some table water before wanting to order food.Waited and Waited and waited nothing came out . Asked one of the staff what was taking so long given it was really quiet.My order never even put through. The staff were rude when I asked why.It was then far to late to even order any food. Not a hrs job to put an order in when it’s quiet. Not a nice atmosphere either everyone seams very miserable.

Amazing service, very friendly.The coffee was amazing.The breakfast was very filling and full of flavour ( I ordered 2 pieces of bacon on the side and it was full pieces which I liked, not half like other stores) and cooked the perfection. l had the Chorizo, Chilli and fetta scrambled eggs and would highly recommend this dish for breakfast.
