First time I heard of them was 2 weeks ago. Website seemed friendly and attractive. Ordered and paid for the yarn I needed online - they make it simple and easy. Picked it up the next day as my order went in after 4.30pm. Thrilled with my yarn - the colour is perfect and I'm loving the knitting. So glad I found these Sisters. They respond to emails promptly and they just seem friendly and helpful; I felt like I'd joined a community. And their shop simply rocks!! Love it, gals.

A wonderful online shop. I wish I could visit in person. An amazing range of yarn and colourways, excellent photos, and the site is very easy to navigate. Service is excellent, super efficient and friendly, and the yarn arrives beautifully presented. I’m very happy I came across this site, and it’s one of my go-to shops for wool we have trouble getting in NZ. Thanks so much, highly recommended. :)

Extremely happy with Skein Sisters. Very friendly & personable to deal with in all aspects, from purchasing yarns and patterns online to instore purchases & classes. Fabulous yarn range & always happy to help with any issues I have with my projects. Personal handwritten thankyou card posted with my online purchases which makes me feel my business is appreciated ! These people really listen to your needs & try their utmost to help. Shame not all businesses are run in the same manner.

Received some fo their yarn as a gift from friends and had to gave more. I haven't had the chance to visit in person but have ordered online. Their website is easy to navigate and I had my order delivered at the speed of light. All well packaged in eco friendly packaging that was reusable. Very good quality yarn. This will be my go to place when I'm after high quality yarn for special projects.

I have attended many of their fabulous classes. Teachers were all very well prepared and engaging. The yarns in this shop are to die for. Good price range catering for different budgets - all high quality. Large range of accessories plus lots of knitting and crochet patterns. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you require extra attention, go during quieter times. I have also shopped online here and my purchases were handled without a hitch. Happy knitting and crocheting!

Google Maps helped me find this delightful little shop in Marrickville when I was looking for a wool winder. The customer service was friendly and helpful and the shop was full of colourful yarn on every wall from top to bottom. Parking was also easy to find on the side street.

My absolute favourite yarn store in Australia.This is a store that is filled with passion. I visited today on a warm Saturday afternoon. Inside was thankfully air conditioned and people were enjoying the space browsing, knitting and really talking shop. The team are very friendly and know their stuff! This is clearly evident with the many demo items throughout the store. Deb and the team are welcoming no matter what stage of knitter you are.Yarn selection is wide and I found there was decent stock levels so I was able to grab complete sweater lengths of yarn in the colours I wanted.There is a nice selection of books, patterns and notions.I have attended knit nights as well as classes that were friendly and well organised. I love the fostering of a local craft community that is missing in some of the stores I visit.By far an international standard yarn store on my “must visit” list when I am in Sydney.Highly recommended.
