I’ve been going to Emma since 2016, and wouldn’t go to anyone else, she knows her stuff, she got my colour spot on when I went in this morning and couldn’t be happier with my outcome. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. 10/10

I've never been to the hairdressers before and decided at 30 that it was time for a change. I'm very lazy with my hair and needed something low maintenance and when I made this confession to Amy she didn't scoff or scowl at me, she just said yeah okay no worries". She then made sure that the colouring suited what I wanted and also what I could realistically manage to maintain (in terms of money and effort). She was also just a gem to talk to

I’ve been going to Emphasized for years now and would never trust anybody else with my hair! The vibe & talent that these girls have is next level. Emma is always so supportive and takes the time to go through ideas with me for changes to my hair, giving honest feedback & advice and always delivering an amazing result. The salon overall is so inviting and the pricing is so reasonable considering the level of experience both Emma & Aimee have. I don’t feel any pressure here and it’s such a nice self care day every time I come in. I’ve been blonde & brown with Em and she always delivers ❤️

I am not great at maintaining my hair and this generally causes some anxiety and shame. Aimee was so wonderfully understanding and supportive. She offered helpful direction in a judgement-free manner. Both Em and Aimee create a relaxing, positive environment. I will definitely be back soon!

I have been going to Emphasized hair for years and I couldn’t recommend a better hair salon! I have tried other places here and there but always end up regretting it and going back to Emphasized hair. No matter what colour we decide to do my hair is always left healthy. The girls working are also a complete vibe, always know I’m going to be comfortable and laughing while there.

I have been a regular at Emphasized since 2018; still leaving after each appointment just as impressed and confident as the first. Emma's attention to detail and understanding of my style/ hair is completely unmatched to any other of my salon experiences. Such personalised care every single appointment. The Hamilton salon is such a safe and comfortable space to relax into a treatment, trim, restyling or colouring session. Emma and Aimee are easily the best stylists in the region!!
