Under new management. WOW! is how I’ll explain my review. Great food from a great chef that’s new to town. The place in under full renovation and will be looking so lovely inside and out in the next 12 month. Coldest beers in town and there is a gaming room and TAB. Members draw every Thursday $5000 and members benefits aswell.

In 2020 I stayed here. WORST HOSTEL EVER.Wouldn’t give me my bond back because a backpacker in my room didn’t pay rent? Don’t know how it was connected to me. The bond was $250???? Insane. Wouldn’t keep aircon on during day only from 7pm-11pm. (EVEN IN THE SUMMER) the hallways were never clean. Piles of clothes everywhere. They even threw out people clothes that were on the clothes line. This was the most disgusting hostel experience I had and I stayed in aus 3 years.

Had a work dinner there recently and was extremely surprised... lovely staff. Beautiful renovation.. and a delicious dinner.. had a pork cutlet.. so tender.. my colleague's chicken Parma was as big as her head.. photo worthy.. definitely needed a doggy bag.. definitely will be back ...very happy customer .and well done to staff..

Cheap 5$ (10$ with a pint)adequate meals that a loving version of lunchlady doris would cook. No fuss not pretending to be something that it ain’t. Keep an eye on the pager beeper thingy that lets you know that your meal is ready. Sometimes it doesn’t beep and you may go hungry. (the review is for the restaurant only)
