Highly recommend the Cascade Hotel for meals. We went there with our three children for dinner, and the staff were fantastic. They had table service for drinks and meals which is very handy when we have a two year old who likes to wander if we get up to go to the bar. The meals we’re great priced and absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parmi, and I would confidently say it’s the best I’ve had.

Not a great experience. Welcomed" by an older woman with a "YOO-HOO?" Not how you speak to patrons. Had a jug of water and salt and pepper slammed on the table. Staff made an incorrect booking. Steak was overcooked. Kitchen closed at 8 on a Thursday

I’m going to have to buck the trend here and say the food wasn’t that great, nor the service. The steak was inedible and the smallest serving of scallops for main. We did not at any point get asked if everything was ok with our meals, it was definitely not OK, but couldn’t be bothered with sending the steak back. We didn’t eat it and waitress couldn’t have cared less. Decided to have a relaxed pub meal after a great morning at Savoy baths. Tried this hotel based off positive google reviews, unfortunately we won’t be returning.

The best steak we have had in a long time. A large number of game dishes, not Not sure a surf & turf warranted the price they have on the menu, maybe on pay week for that one.

We had a meal at the Cascade Hotel last night and it was just great. Between our group we ordered several parmigianas, schnitzels and a steak and we were all really happy with our meals. Some of us struggled to finish, the meals were so big!The staff and the environment were also so friendly. Highly recommend as a relaxed place to enjoy a meal out, especially if you've just finished walking the Overland Track :)
